A Night to Remember: Red Velvet’s Irene Takes Centre Stage in Singapore

ReVeluvs in Singapore finally got their long-awaited moment on 4 July 2026, as Red Velvet’s Irene took over The Theatre at Mediacorp for the Singapore stop of her first-ever solo Asia tour, 2026 IRENE ASIA TOUR [ I-WILL ].

Following successful shows in Seoul, Taipei and Macau, Singapore marked the tour’s fourth destination before she heads to Bangkok for the next and final stop on 18 July.

Marking a major milestone in her career, Irene delivered a show that was elegant, powerful, and full of warmth. The tour, which kicked off in Seoul before heading to Taipei, Macau, Singapore, and Bangkok, signalled a new chapter for the Red Velvet leader as she expanded her solo artistry beyond the group stage.

The show opened on a high note with “Like A Flower,” the lead single from her 2024 solo album, Like A Flower (2024). Performing with her dancers and covering the full stage with intricate choreography, Irene set the tone for the night. The energy in the venue was electric from the start, with fan chants ringing loudly throughout the entire show.

Adding to the excitement, Irene surprised fans by debuting a fresh new look with full bangs.

Irene brought forth a setlist that showcased tracks from both of her solo albums, Like A Flower (2024) and Biggest Fan (2026), taking audiences through the evolution of her artistry with a mix of elegant, powerful and emotionally driven performances.

Irene appeared in an all-black outfit for “Black Halo” that matched the song’s strong yet elegant mood. She continued with “Don’t Wanna Get Up” from her latest album, pairing the performance with a subtle outfit change into a long white layered skirt that added a softer, more graceful touch to the moment.

One of the more memorable segments of the night came when Irene took a seated position for “A White Night” and “I Feel Pretty.” The quieter staging allowed her vocals to shine, while a finger light event organised by fans during “A White Night” turned the venue into a beautiful sea of lights, creating one of the most touching moments of the concert.

She also performed “The Only,” a vibrant electro-pop track produced in collaboration with South Korean DJ-producer Raiden, holding onto the Red Velvet lightstick together with her dancers as the stage came alive with a playful, energetic vibe. “Ka-Ching” followed, with ReVeluvs responding enthusiastically as loud fan chants filled the theatre once again.

Later in the show, Irene appeared in a red-and-black plaid top and a red satin-style skirt for “Biggest Fan,” bringing back a burst of energy as she performed the title track from her newest album. The momentum continued with “Wasteland” and “Love Can Make A Way,” both of which highlighted her strong vocals.

Beyond the performances, Irene also made time to connect with fans in a way that felt personal and sincere. She chatted with ReVeluvs and shared that she had tried durian and jackfruit during her time in Singapore. Curious to experience more of the local food scene, she asked fans for Singapore food recommendations and said she would be sure to try them the next time she returns. She also delighted fans by sharing exclusive news, including the announcement that a new lightstick is currently in the works.

The encore brought a nostalgic and heartwarming close to the night, as Irene performed some of Red Velvet’s beloved hits, including “Attaboy,” “Rookie,” and “Russian Roulette.” Nearing the end, Irene was surprised with a fan banner event in the shape of a purple flower, organised by Singapore ReVeluvs.

To end the concert, Irene returned to her Like A Flower era with “Winter Wish” and “Start Line,” closing the night on a tender and reflective note.

For ReVeluvs, it was a night of unforgettable performances, heartfelt moments, and a beautiful celebration of Irene’s growth as a solo artist.

As the [ I-WILL ] Asia Tour approaches its finale, we wish Irene a successful final stop in Bangkok. With Red Velvet’s 12th debut anniversary just around the corner, we’re excited to see what lies ahead for her, both in her solo career and with the group.
