A Plenty Of Sweet Moments in Cha Eunwoo ‘2022 Just One 10 Minute’ [Starry Caravan] in Jakarta

ASTRO member and actor Cha Eunwoo return with his ‘Just One 10 Minute’ fan meeting offline after 2 years of pandemic. The first destination of the 2022 fan meeting tour is Jakarta, which also marked his first fan meeting here.

The crowd in Tennis Indoor Senayan on 23th of July transform into a lovely atmosphere with pink lighting as Cha Eunwoo appeared on stage with his solo song ‘First Love’ on ASTRO’s Drive to the Starry Road’album. The idol-actor looks stunning with an earth-tone outfit, white shirt and beige pants, greeted fans in Bahasa Indonesia, “Halo, ayang  (One of Indonesian sweet nicknames means darling). Aku Cha Eunwoo. Senang bertemu dengan kalian  (Hi, darling. I am Cha Eunwoo. Nice to meet you).” The fans replied his greeting with great enthusiasm.

An Intimate Time

The fan meeting is full of an entertaining segments. The first segment is ‘Fact Check Look Me Up’ which check some facts and help fans to get to know deeper about Cha Eunwoo. Later, the ‘5 Minutes Straight’ segment was hosted by Cha Eunwoo himself, by talking the main point of his character in his previous dramas, and got challenged to react to the scenes and dialogues. First, he presented his first drama as male lead character, ‘My ID is Gangnam Beauty’. Due to the drama’s popularity, Cha Eun Woo received first overseas award in Indonesian Television Awards 2018. When talking about his most recent drama ‘True Beauty’, Cha Eunwoo react to the remarkable dialogue, “You looks pretty without make up,” and got shy after. The fans’ screams got even more louder when Cha Eunwoo react to one of the viral scene “Ottoke” song, a cute song that Lee Suho (Cha Eunwoo character) sang to comfort Lim Ju Kyung.

In the next corner, “Make Your Own Statue” to create his statue based on the image he picked with clay. It took time for Cha Eunwoo to complete his statue, showing how he worked hard on it. However, the head of the statue keep falling, making the venue full of laughter.

Deep and Sweet Voice of Singer Cha Eunwoo

Cha Eunwoo lent his voice on several ost and sang some of them for Indonesian fans for the first time. He melted fans’ hearts with ‘Don’t Cry My Love’ an ost of ‘Under the Oak Tree’ webtoon and ‘Focus On Me’ an ost from ‘The Villainess is a Marionette’. His deep voice and the lyrics gave an emotional ambience.

This fan meeting proved that singer Cha Eunwoo could nail many genres of music as he cover an upbeat pop-rock song ‘When You’re Gone’ (original by Shawn Mendes). Wearing a ‘Starry Caravan’ merchandise global edition, white sleeveless t-shirt and bandana on hand, the tension is going up during the song.

Cha Eunwoo change the mood and turn it into romantic ambience with one of the most awaited song that he covered on YouTube, ‘Aloha’. The song is special for both Cha Eunwoo and fans because the title of the song is sound the same as AROHA (*the name of ASTRO’s fandom) in Korean. But, it become more special when Cha Eunwoo gave plenty of roses to fans in every corner of the stage. The fans sing along and harmonize with Cha Eunwoo’s sweet voice.

When about start to photo time, suddenly a video message from fans appeared on screen to surprise Cha Eunwoo. He watched the video attentively with full of smile and teary eyes. Later, the fans at the venue showed a banner project containing sweet words, “It’s enough to spend 10 minutes together, Cha Eunwoo becomes my first love.” He feel touched and thanked fans for the surprise and also complimented fans that they’re good at Korean.

AROHA’s passionate energy is not over but even more powerful during the encore. ‘Love So Fine’, a popular ost from his big hit drama ‘True Beauty’ wrap up the performance perfectly. Cha Eunwoo’s sweet voice combine with sweet fanservice as he come closer to fans in every corner stage. Indeed, he genuinely love his fans!

When everyone thinks the event is about to come to an end, but Cha Eunwoo won’t stop to spoiled fans with his sweet message, photoshoot, and secret interview about fan meeting concept through VCR. He shared the behind meaning ‘Starry Caravan’ was going to camp with AROHAs and wish to actually going to camp with fans later.
