MBC Show Champion in Manila 2018

“MBC Show Champion” again dominated Mall of Asia Arena as Xeno-T, Hyeongseop x Euiwoong, The Boyz, Weki Meki, MXM and EXO burned the stage with their great performances last October 28, 2018. MBC Show Champion last came to the Philippines in 2016 for its 200^th episode.

This MBC Show Champion in Manila 2018 started at 7pm Philippine time. The emcee for this event was Kim Shin Young, who was also the emcee last MBC Show Champion 2016.

XENO-T

The first artist to rock the stage was Xeno-T, formerly known as Topp Dogg. Xeno-T started their performance with their song “Forever”. They were so excited to meet the Filipino audience which made them say a greeting in Tagalog, ‘Magandang Gabi (Good Evening)’. Performing some of their known tracks, “Perfume” and “O.A.S.I.S.”, Xeno-T proved that they are a multi-talented group by showcasing their great raps, vocals, and dances.

Hyeongseop x Euiwoong

The second performer for tonight was a duo from Yuehua Entertainment, Hyeongseop x Euiwoong. These two joined the boy group survival reality show Produce 101 Season 2. After the reality show, they were created and debuted last November 2, 2017. For their first stage in the Philippines, they sang their debut song “It Will Be Good,” followed by “Spring Rain” and “Love Tint.” As they were having their segment, the two mentioned that Philippines is a country full of bright people that’s why they enjoyed performing.

The Boyz

A dozen of boys on stage will literally melt everyone’s heart. The Boyz, a 12-member South Korean boy group from Cre.Ker Entertainment, showed their energetic side as they perform their songs, “Boy” and “Giddy Up.” They have mentioned that they are looking forward for a solo concert in the Philippines. They ended their stage with their performance of “Right Here.”

Weki Meki

As the only girl group performer on the list, Weki Meki proved that girls really do rock the world. This was their first time meeting the Filipino fans. They first performed their debut song, “I Don’t Like Your Girlfriend.” As the crowd goes wilder, so as Weki Meki. They performed other songs like, “Lalala” and “Crush.”

MXM

Another duo performed on the stage of MOA Arena. This time, they are from Brand New Music Entertainment which is MXM. They also joined Produce 101 Season 2 and debuted as a duo or sub-unit of BNM Boys last September 6, 2017. They sang “Diamond Girl” as their first song. The crowds went wild as they were acting really cute during their stage performances. They also sang “Checkmate” and “Ya Ya Ya.”

EXO

The most-awaited group of tonight’s event did not leave the crowd hanging. EXO, literally fired the stage up as they perform “Kokobop.” The fanchants of the EXO-Ls were really loud that made EXO really happy as they perform. They also performed “Boomerang,” “What U Do,” and “Power” which was their last song.

It was indeed a great night especially for the fans of those artists. MBC Show Champion in Manila 2018 was brought to the fans by MBC Music, All Access Production, Mall of Asia Arena, and SM Tickets.
