[KOREA JOA 2016] Day 3: K-SPORT, Pyeongchang Winter Olympics 2018!!

On the 3rd day we have to wake up early, as we have to leave the hotel by 8AM to go to our next stop in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province, the city for the next Winter Olympics in 2018. It is a 3.5 hours drive from Seoul, where we stopped for a quick toilet and snack break in a service area. Korea’s service area is one of the interesting place to find great snacks like ddeokbokki (spicy rice cake), oden (fish cake), mini boiled/fried potato, and all other snacks to fill your tummy. We then continued our bus ride to a place where we eat our lunch while experience a Traditional Korea Cuisine at Jeong Gang Won (The Institute of Korean Traditional Cuisine). This place was used as the main location for K-Drama ‘Sikgaek’.

They brought us to Alpensia Ski Jump Tower, which is not for faint hearted people. They have 2 K-Points, at 98 meters and 125 meters, both are scary enough for you not to feel acrophobia or your legs giving up on you. It was a great experience.
