SM Entertainment has given a surprise today by announcing a new member in its debut group, Red Velvet. In response to pro and con reactions on the new member, they naturally released an official statement.
“Through this change, the extension of Red Velvet’s members’ talent and charms will be maximized. The plan is also to present a better music and performance,” the agency told the public.
This is not the first time for the agency to add one or two additional members to a group that they have released. Previously, Kyuhyun, Henry, and Zhoumi had the same experience when they became part of Super Junior that already debuted with 12 members.
Look forward to Red Velvet’s first album that will be released on March 18.
