South Korean Indie Sensation JANNABI To Make Singapore Debut With ‘Sweat & Stardust’ Asia Tour

Earlier on 1 May, Korean indie rock band JANNABI announced that they will be embarking on their first-ever Asia tour. Presented by FriedRice Entertainment, the JANNABI 1st Asia Tour : Sweat & Stardust in Singapore will take place on 13 August 2026 (Thursday), 8PM at the Capitol Theatre.

Comprising members Choi Jung-hoon and Kim Do-hyung, JANNABI is a band that reinterprets the deep-rooted lyricism of Korean popular music through a chamber pop sound. Since their debut in 2014, the band has gained recognition for both their popularity and artistic merit through numerous hit songs and critically acclaimed studio albums, establishing themselves as one of the most successful acts in Korea’s indie band scene.

In particular, their hit song “for lovers who hesitate” received immense love in the Korean music market and was recognized for its musical achievement, winning the prestigious Song of the Year (Daesang) at the 17th Korean Music Awards in 2020.

Furthermore, JANNABI’s performances are each structured around a distinct worldview, earning strong support from their fandom over the years. By transforming the ‘universality’, a core characteristic of JANNABI’s music, into a ‘special experience’ within the concert space, each show offers the audiences a unique reason to return. Their “All the Boys and Girls 2125” concert, set in a futuristic world, even won the Grand Prize in the Best Concert category at the 12th EDAILY Culture Awards.
