Arcadia Manila 2026: Chen’s Magical Return

On February 28, 2026, Chen brought his Arcadia solo concert tour to Manila, filling the EVM Convention Center with an atmosphere that was equal parts intimate and electrifying. It was his first return to the Philippines since 2025, and fansaka. Filipino 순딩이 welcomed him back with overwhelming warmth and carefully prepared projects that turned the night into a shared masterpiece. 

Chen opened the show with No Gravity, establishing  the mood of the entire show so far. Powerful singing filled the hall, and the audience responded by singing every word back to him with their loud voices. The setlist, or “opening the door” as he said, moved from the high-energy tracks Fall In Love Again and I Don’t Even Mind to the gentle ballads My Dear and Deja-Vu and Remember. Each transition was marked by Chen’s genuine remarks which he shared with the audience.

During the concert, the crowd started to chant the word “pogi” between songs, but Chen was curious to know what the word meant. When he found out that it was the Filipino term for handsome, he started to tease the crowd, which was very charming. This was one of the highlights of the concert that evening.

Chen’s sense of humor was also evident when he joked that he did not know that the VCR was made by the fans. He  laughed and joked that if no one stopped him, the concert would be over without him watching the video himself. The video showed Chen in a camping setting, which was very serene and reflected his simple nature. The crowd was amused by his sense of humor, and the hall was filled with laughter. Chen also used Filipino terms to express himself, using the terms “lupet” and “solid”  to express the crowd’s energy, and “salamat po” to express his gratitude. The most touching scene was when he expressed himself by saying “mahal ko kayo”, which sent the crowd into a frenzy of cheers and tears.
