LINKIN PARK, FUERZA REGIDA, JELLY ROLL, MEGAN MORONEY, SHABOOZEY AND STRAY KIDS JOIN STAR-STUDDED LINEUP OF PERFORMERS ON THE 2024 BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS

The Two-Hour Special, Hosted by Actress and Comedian Michelle Buteau and Presented by Marriott Bonvoy, Airs Live Thursday, December 12 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on FOX and Amazon’s Fire TV Channels, and On-Demand on Paramount+ and Next Day on Hulu

Los Angeles, CA (December 11, 2024) – Today, the Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs), one of the most anticipated nights in music, announced that Linkin Parkis joining the ever-growing roster of superstar performers on the 2024 Billboard Music Awards Presented by Marriott Bonvoy. Hosted by actress and comedian Michelle Buteau, the 2024 BBMAs airs live onThursday, December 12 at 8:00pm ET/PT on FOX and Amazon’s Fire TV Channels, and on-demand on Paramount+, with performances also rolling out across Billboard.com and via BBMAs and Billboard social channels. The special will air the next day on Hulu. Earlier this week, performances by Fuerza Regida, Jelly Roll, Megan Moroney, Shaboozey and Stray Kids were announced via BBMAs social media channels.

LINKIN PARK

• Up for five awards this year including “Top Duo/Group,” “Top Rock Artist,” “Top Hard Rock Artist,” “Top Rock Duo/Group” and “Top Hard Rock Song,” the double-diamond-certified alternative rock band will perform from their “From Zero World Tour” in São Paulo, Brazil for their first award show performance with new vocalist Emily Armstrong.

• Musica Mexicana powerhouse Fuerza Regida will make their BBMAs debut with a sultry medley of two of their hit 2024 songs. The performers also vie for four awards including “Top Duo/Group,” “Top Latin Artist,” “Top Latin Duo/Group” and “Top Latin Album.”

• Music superstar Jelly Roll will make his BBMAs debut from a stop on his sold-out Beautifully Broken Tour tour, with two special performances. This year, he is up for three BBMAs – “Top Song Sales Artist, “Top Rock Artist” and “Top Hard Rock Song.”

• For her BBMAs performance debut, “Top Country Female Artist” finalist Megan Moroney will treat her biggest fans to an outdoor performance from the heart of Nashville, presented by Carnival Cruise Line.

• From W Hollywood, part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, country Music superstar and first-time finalist Shaboozey will captivate an exclusive audience of Marriott Bonvoy members with performances of “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and, later in the show, “Highway.” He is up for six Billboard Music Awards, including “Top New Artist,” “Top Song Sales Artist,” “Top Hot 100 Song,“ “Top Streaming Song,“ “Top Selling Song“ and “Top Country Song.“

  • Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” was his first chart-topper on the Billboard 100 and has remained No. 1 for a record-tying 19 total weeks atop the chart. Over the chart’s 66-year history, the song is now outright the longest-leading No. 1 ever by an artist with no accompanying credited acts.
