ALL EYES SPARKS ON KIM SOO HYUN FOR 2024 KIM SOO HYUN ASIA TOUR IN JAKARTA <EYES ON YOU>

Saturday, 7th September 2024 remarked a special day as it was a long awaited time for fans to see their beloved multi-talented actor, Kim Soo Hyun. After 10 years, it’s time to greet and meet fans in person as his fanbase is getting bigger day by day. Sentul International Convention Center felt warmer as there were invisible lovingly sparks exchanged by his fans and the beloved favorite, Kim Soo Hyun. Entitled “EYES ON YOU”, it perfectly captured how attentively Kim Soo Hyun and fans listen and watch each other with so much love during the event.

Show began with the VCR of Kim Soo Hyun’s career journey from debut until his latest hit project aired this year, Queen of Tears, which gained tons of love from audiences across the globe and became the highest-rated tvN series. Cheers from fans are starting to be heard, hoping Kim Soo Hyun will soon appear on stage. Lighting off and on, a familiar melody began to play and Kim Soo Hyun appeared in the center of the stage. Love You With All My Heart originally sung by Crush as one of the Queen of Tears phenomenon soundtrack, became Kim Soo Hyun’s pick to give the intro for his fanmeet. It was beyond beautiful and melodious coming from him, I believe fans could feel the same as fans singing along with him and enjoy his presence on stage. As his first performance ended, he started to greet his fans with bold “Rrrrr” as there are alot of Indonesian words that use bold “Rrrr”. “Rrrrr, Rrrrr, Rrrrrr. Apa kabarrrrr?” (How are you?), said Kim Soo Hyun affected little giggle from fans as his best efforts to pronounce it correctly. 

Continue to the first chit-chat session when Kim Soo Hyun gave commentary from photos he shared on his Instagram and Bubble. It was a very unique way to get to know him better as we all know he has a fun and humorous charm in every photo that he shared to fans. Adding more challenges, Kim Soo Hyun had to explain the photo with only a few minutes. In a rush, Kim Soo Hyun tried his best to answer, however he was amazed by his interpreter who also tried her best to deliver the bahasa Indonesia as fast as Kim Soo Hyun and brought laughter from both Kim Soo Hyun and audiences. From this session, we were acknowledged that Kim Soo Hyun is unable to take care of plants as he can be assured the plant won’t survive more than a week. He talked about Yongduri’s (Queen of Tears filming set) as Yongduri’s Minimart owned by Baek Hyun Woo’s family is his favorite as he can try a lot of delicious snacks. Outside filming, he also enjoyed being there as he can go bowling with film crew as it is located nearby. Another fun fact about his activities is the Ski video which he uploaded in Bubble and got a massive reaction from fans, he said that Skiing is his favorite sport and another surprising thing that he is giving the tips and tricks and also showing directly to fans how he does ski correctly.  

Next session, we got a deeper exclusive commentary scene-cuts from Queen of Tears as fans got more excited. There is one spectacular scene coming from Baek Hyun Woo when he got shot, Kim Soo Hyun suddenly gave 101 Acting with him (shyly and cutely) particularly on how to naturally portray being shot in a scene and hope it will be useful for fans. Another scene-cut showed, it was when Hong Hae In explained about the busman thingy to Baek Hyun Woo. Shocking fun fact, Kim Soo Hyun said Baek Hyun Woo is not naive about that, but as he wants to encourage Hong Hae In to express her feelings more sincerely he let himself pretend to be clueless in front of Hong Hae In to see his cute wife express a crush on him. This new fun fact again brought laughter and nostalgia to the fans. Kim Soo Hyun also introduced his newest project that will be airing soon entitled “Knock-Off” as he assured fans will see his other charisma there. 

To enhance the interaction between Kim Soo Hyun and fans, there are lots of quiz and mission games played by fans to win special prizes and get close to him on the stage. There is one precious moment when Kim Soo Hyun asked about Hijab wear by his fans as he wanted to get to know more about the culture and his fans here in Indonesia even say it’s pretty, how thoughtful! 

Talking about Indonesian foods, we can’t get enough of Nasi Goreng as a must-to-have food, can we? Yup, so does Kim Soo Hyun. He pronounced Nasi Goreng with bold “Rrr” as “Nasi Gorrrreng”. He associated Nasi Goreng with every new word that he learned from the Indonesian words quiz in this show as example, “Menyala Nasi Goreng” and “Tidak Ada Obat Nasi Goreng“. Oh, how can we move on from this funny Kim Soo Hyun. Kim Soo Hyun shared that he loves Indonesian snacks as he tried some of them, especially the savory chips. 

Onto the next performance from our multi-talented, Kim So Hyun, there are more than one song he performed in this special show LIVE with LIVE BAND. “Wherever You Will Go” by The Calling, “All of Me” by John Legend to add romantic vibes and teary eyes came from fans as it was really beautiful performance with his smooth and great high notes, his iconic “Yodle-Lay-He-Hoo” causing uproar from fans as it match with his fun charisma, and last but not least it became more meaningful when he performed his original soundtrack from Queen of Tears “Way Home” as the encore performance. “Way Home” is the song that fans have been waiting for as this song remarked Kim Soo hyun comeback for singing his drama soundtrack after 10 years, the deep-meaning lyrics also match very well with Queen of Tears becoming a perfect closing performance from Kim Soo Hyun

As a ‘thank you’ gesture, he waved to every section and gave his best smiles and heart sign gestures to fans. Kim Soo Hyun said he will come back to meet his fans as soon as possible with a more exciting fanmeet later. Let’s cheer up and wait for him patiently! 🙂
