Stay Rock n Roll With Xdinary Heroes at ‘Break The Brake’ World Tour in Jakarta 

Xdinary Heroes, a rock band under Studio J which is a sub-label of JYP Entertainment finally came to Indonesia for the first time for the ‘Break The Brake’ World Tour in Jakarta on Saturday, March 2 2024, at The Kasablanka Hall. The concert was successfully held with the Villains (Xdinary Heroes fandom) for 3 full hours. Apart from that, Indonesia is the first stop in Asia for their world tour. Come see the excitement of last night’s concert!

Xdinary Heroes consists of 6 members, Gunil (Leader, Drummer), Jungsu (Keyboardist, Main Vocalist), Gaon (Rhythm Guitarist, Rapper, Vocalist), O.de (Synthesizer, Rapper, Vocalist), Junhan (Lead Guitarist), and Jooyeon (Bassist, Main Vocalist). They started the concert with ‘Freddy,’ ‘Come in to my head,’ and ‘KNOCK DOWN.’ All the band members and Villains really enjoyed the performance of these first 3 songs. They continued their performance on stage with ‘checkmate’ and ‘Test Me.’ The fans’ enthusiastic cheers could be heard throughout their performance.

‘Hair Cut’, ‘Enemy’, ‘Man in The Box,’ and ‘Ghost’ were the next songs to fill the stage. Not just performing songs full of energy, Xdinary Heroes also brought several songs with ballad nuances to the concert setlist, including ‘Dear.H,’ ‘Good Enough,’ and ‘Paranoid.’ All Villains who came to the concert got carried away by the atmosphere and sang along throughout the songs. “How will our ballad look? Isn’t that cool?”, they asked at the end of the performance. Of course we definitely say yes to such a great performance.

At this concert, they also covered several songs from other JYP artists. There was ‘Hellevator’ from Stray Kids and ‘Shoot Me’ from DAY6. This unpredictable performance of course made us all very surprised and pleased because they covered the song perfectly. Next, they returned with ‘Bad Chemical,’ ‘Freakin’ Bad,’ ‘Sucker Punch!’ and ‘Strawberry Cake.’

The extraordinary vocals and stage act plus the resounding screams from Villains made the members amazed. Jooyeon even asked Villains to sing the refrain of ‘Strawberry Cake’ again. “Woah, you guys are really amazing, how can you follow it so well? “This song is difficult,” he said. The performance continued with ‘Pirates,’ ‘Bicycle,’ and ‘Break The Brake.’

Unconsciously, the concert time was almost over. The six of them returned to the stage and already changed clothes ready to give their final words. Before that, they performed two songs before the encore, ‘AGAIN? AGAIN!’ and ‘PLUTO.’

“Ini melebihi harapan kami. Terima kasih sudah memberikan waktu berharga kalian, aku cinta kalian! (It exceeded our expectations. Thank you for giving your valuable time, I love you!),” said O.de.

“Kami pasti akan kembali, aku tidak akan pernah melupakan momen ini selamanya (We will definitely come back, I will never forget this moment forever),” said Jooyeon.

“Aku cinta Villains Indonesia! Sampai ketemu lagi! (I love Villains Indonesia! See you again!)’ said Gunil.

“Hari ini sangat seru, sampai jumpa lagi, terima kasih! (Today was a great day, see you again, thank you!)” said Junhan.

“This was the best March 2 of my entire life. Aku cinta kalian (I love you guys!),” said Gaon.

“Your energy is truly extraordinary. Tetap dalam semangat rock and roll sampai Xdinary Heroes kembali ke Jakarta ya (Stay in the spirit of rock and roll, until Xdinary Heroes returns to Jakarta)” said Jungsu.

After giving the comments, Villains Indonesia gave a surprise to Xdinary Heroes with their fan project video. The members were so moved that Jooyeon and Gaon cried on stage. They finally ended their concert with ‘X-MAS,’ ‘Happy Death Day’, and ‘Freakin’ Bad’ while getting off the stage and going around the audience area to greet them. It’s indeed a party, very lively.
