Under the Stars with Sonica Music Festival in Melbourne

In case you haven’t heard, Amber, Henry, and Zico are coming to Melbourne! That’s right. The trio will be heading to the land down under to perform in Sonica Music Festival. The amount of talent in the trio alone should already make you have your way headed to the ticketing website to purchase a ticket because we couldn’t be more excited! Amber started her music career as a K-pop idol in the group f(x) in 2009 under SM Entertainment’s management as a 5-membered girl group. Her unique voice has made her standout even while promoting as f(x) and being a Los Angeles native brought out different colors to her performances compared to her group mates while releasing music and actively promoting. Amber released her first solo EP in 2015 with the title track ‘Shake that Brass’ which charted in Billboard’s World Album Chart at number 19. Her most recent release, Z! with the title track ‘Paradise’ was released February 2022. 

The violin prodigy, Henry also started out as part of the group, Super Junior-M (the SJ China subgroup) in 2007 and like f(x), it was also under SM Entertainment’s management. He proceeded to promote as a group and debuting solo in 2013 with the track ‘Trap’ and since then, he’s been continuously producing and creating more music with talented musicians across the globe while releasing his own music. His latest release is a single track titled ‘Moonlight’ that was released January 2023. 

Zico is also headed to Australia for the first time, gracing us with his presence in the Sonica Music Festival. He’s known to be the father of TikTok challenges in the Kpop industry, starting the TikTok challenge trend with hit song, ‘Any Song’ during the early stages of the TikTok boom, with the ‘New Thing’ challenge as one of his latest TikTok success. He’s still actively promoting as part of the groups Block B and Fanxy Child but has made a name for himself as a soloist in multiple aspects of the Kpop industry; a producer, a rap genius, and also an owner of an entertainment label, KOZ.
