2017 MAMA Announced 1st Line-Up: Wanna One & SEVENTEEN

Under the new theme ‘Co-existence’, 2017 MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards) is set to take place at three different locations including Vietnam (Hoa Binh Theater, November 25th), Japan (Yokohama Arena , November 29th), and Hong Kong (Asia World-Expo, Arena, December 1st). This year, MAMA will emphasize the importance of harmony among different cultures through extravagant performances with a star-studded line-up of international artists. As a part of the new theme, MAMA will also provide a platform for leading music industry experts to honor and share their insights for music at ‘2017 MAMA Professional Categories (November 30th, W Hong Kong)’.

2017 MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards) announced its first performing artists to be Seventeen and Wanna One. Seventeen is a thirteen-member boy group who debuted in 2015 and known as the “self-producing” idol group as the members involve in the composition and production of their songs and choreography. Meanwhile Wanna One is an 11-member boy group formed from Mnet’s survival reality show Produce 101 Season 2. The final members, Kang Daniel, Park Ji Hoon, Lee Dae Hwi, Kim Jae Hwan, Ong Seong Wu, Park Woo Jin, Lai Kuan Lin, Yoon Ji Sung, Hwang Min Hyun, Bae Jin Young, and Ha Sung Woon, were chosen by the public audience’s votes.

Tickets for 2017 MAMA will open at MAMA.Qoo10.com from Monday, October 23^rd 10 AM (Japanese time) for ‘2017 MAMA in Japan’, and Friday, October 27^th 10 AM (Hong Kong time) for ‘2017 MAMA in Hong Kong’. As pre-sale tickets are limited, earlier sold-out is expected. Qoo10 has obtained title sponsorship for 2017 MAMA and various promotional events will be hosted simultaneously with the ticket sales on the website. In addition, ticket sales for ‘2017 MAMA Premiere in Vietnam’ will begin on Monday, October 23^rd 10 AM (Vietnam time) at ticketbox.vn.
