WOODZ “Archive. 1” in Singapore: A Masterclass in Versatility and Local Charm
Fans in Singapore finally got the moment they had been waiting for on 2 April 2026, as WOODZ made his debut at The Theatre at Mediacorp with the “2026 WOODZ WORLD TOUR ‘Archive. 1’ in Singapore.”
This marked the third country stop on his tour, following performances in his home country of South Korea in Seoul and two city stops in Japan, with more stops planned across Asia, Europe, and Australia.
WOODZ set the tone for the night on a high, kicking off with “Bloodline” on his electric guitar, donning a pair of sunglasses. He then moved through tracks from Archive. 1 such as “Downtown” and “Dayfly,” sharing the thoughts, emotions, and intentions that shaped the album, giving fans insight into his creative process and the stories behind the songs.
His range was undeniable, moving effortlessly from rock to ballad, pop, and rap, with each transition feeling natural and intentional. Backed by a talented live band, the instrumentals brought a richer, more dynamic sound, especially during tracks like “Smashing Concrete” and “Human Extinction.” The synergy between WOODZ and his band was effortless, keeping the stage alive with energy from start to finish.
Fan-favourite songs like “Love Me Harder,” “Busted,” and “Bump Bump” had the crowd instantly singing along, while “Drowning,” his viral hit that has remained in the Top 10 of the Melon Charts for 64 consecutive weeks, became one of the loudest moments of the night, with fans filling the venue with their voices. “Cinema” was another standout, as WOODZ let the audience take the lead in a karaoke-style singalong, creating a warm, memorable moment that highlighted the bond between him and his fans.

Adding a playful touch, WOODZ also had fun with some Singapore slang. Fans playfully called him “yandao” (handsome guy), and he happily played along. He also called fans “chiobu” (pretty girls) and ended some of his sentences with “lah” and “swee lah,” which sent everyone into laughter and made the night feel even more intimate and lighthearted.
WOODZ surprised the crowd with a special cover of “Twilight” by JJ Lin, Singaporean singer-songwriter, a moment that felt especially personal for the Singapore audience, particularly after the two previously shared the stage at the Asia Artist Awards, performing a special rendition of “Back to Back” (背對背擁抱) together.
For songs like “To My January,” “The Spark,” and “AMNESIA,” WOODZ pulled out his guitar, adding a new element to the performance that was different from his previous tours before Archive. 1.
Singapore fans played a huge part in making the night unforgettable, preparing a flashlight event during “To My January” that lit up the venue in orange and blue – colours associated with WOODZ, followed by a slogan event filled with heartfelt messages.
The night reached its peak with “Stray” as the final song, one of the most hyped moments of the concert. Fans chanted the iconic “비행” line in unison, turning the entire theatre into a powerhouse.
More than just a concert, WOODZ’s first time in Singapore felt like a long-awaited meeting finally brought to life – filled with music, stories, laughs, and moments that fans will hold onto long after the night ended.

As WOODZ continues his Archive. 1 world tour, we wish him all the best for the remaining stops – may each performance be as electric and unforgettable as his debut in Singapore, filled with energy, connection, and the heartfelt support of fans.
