Come Take a Seat IN YOUR FANTASY, ATEEZ in Melbourne

ATEEZ in Melbourne was absolutely CRAZY! After such a long time away from Australia, the boys finally reunited with Australian ATINYs (fans of ATEEZ) for the IN YOUR FANTASY tour, and the energy was unmatched from start to finish.

Even before ATEEZ took the stage, ATINYs kept the atmosphere alive with mini karaoke sessions while iconic music videos played on the big screens which included their latest comeback, ADRENALINE. The arena was already buzzing with excitement and from the moment the lights dimmed, deafening cheers echoed throughout the venue, proving just how much Melbourne had missed them.

The opening song of the IN YOUR FANTASY tour was BOUNCY and it instantly set the tone for the night. The track comes from an album that achieved major Billboard success, reaching No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and No. 1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart. As soon as the beat dropped, the crowd erupted, and the members delivered explosive choreography with a powerful stage presence that commanded the entire arena.

Day one was already electric, with the members giving their all and constantly feeding off the fans’ incredible enthusiasm. Despite SAN not being able to attend the show, the rest of the group was able to bring in the energy to Rod Laver Arena. Their professionalism and teamwork truly shone through, as they supported one another while still delivering a high-energy, unforgettable performance. The members also expressed how much they missed Australia, making the night feel more special for both ATEEZ and ATINY alike. 

They also performed ICE ON MY TEETH, which was their song that won the Main Album Prize (Bonsang) at the 40th Golden Disc Awards last January.  Beyond their group stages, ATEEZ also showcased solo performances that highlighted each member’s unique personality and artistry. It was amazing to see how different their individual styles were from their different types of solo performances but they were still able to create an amazing stage when performing as a group.

When they performed GUERRILLA, the entire venue became one as ATINYs yelled out “BREAK THE WALL!”  to the point where the backing track was barely heard. The energy was so intense it seemed like the walls themselves might crack under the power of the crowd.

ATEEZ’s return to Melbourne was a long-awaited time filled with passion and excitement creating unforgettable memories for ATINYs. We’re now all counting down the days until they perform in Melbourne again (the team at Korean Updates included)!
