Taeyong NCT Delivers Powerful Solo Concert at ‘TY TRACK – REMASTERED’ in Jakarta

Taeyong NCT successfully delivered an unforgettable night for fans in Jakarta through his solo concert 2026 TAEYONG CONCERT <TY TRACK – REMASTERED>, held on Satuday, February 7th, at Tennis Indoor Senayan. This concert marked Taeyong’s return to the solo stage after two years and also became his first solo performance in Indonesia.

At his second stop in Jakarta, the concert opened with an energetic sequence of unreleased tracks: “Locked and Loaded” and “Skiii” as well as his hit singles from 2023 and 2024, “Virtual Insanity,” “Ape” and “Shalala.” Dressed in a leather jacket and sunglasses, Taeyong prowled the stage, showing off his powerful vocals and energetic choreography. “Halo, Aku Taeyong NCT! (Hello, I am Taeyong NCT) Welcome to ‘TY Track — Remastered,’” said Taeyong in Bahasa Indonesia, sending the crowd into a frenzy of screams.

Over 23 tracks, Taeyong showcased his signature aesthetic: bold, experimental and eccentric which highlighted his musical spectrum and growth as an artist but his concert wasn’t all heat and high-energy. The artist made space for vulnerability. “Mermaid,” an unreleased ballad written for fans during his Navy service, was a track that especially moved fans. “They call women who wait for their significant other to enlist in the Navy ‘mermaids.’ I wrote this song thinking of all of you,” explained Taeyong. And there was “Ruby,” a dedicated song to his dog that passed in 2020, also 404 series, including songs “404 File Not Found” and “404 Loading,” that captured his loneliness and existential fog.

The stage production was designed to support his solo identity. Beyond his outstanding performances, the concert’s carefully crafted stage design and direction added depth to each stage. The creative use of lighting made it feel as if each track had multiple stages. Taeyong’s performance of “Moon Tour” was particularly striking, with the use of wirework and large-scale screen visuals that suggested walking on the moon. During “Ups and Downs,” a conveyor belt was used to heighten the song’s introspective mood.

One of the most memorable moments of the night happened when Taeyong unexpectedly stepped down from the stage and entered the standing audience area during his performance of “Love Theory.” The move instantly sent shockwaves through the crowd, with fans reacting in disbelief as he appeared just meters away from them. Carrying a bag filled with autographed balls, Taeyong personally handed them out to fans, creating once-in-a-lifetime moments of interaction.

As the concert progressed, fans prepared a special surprise of their own. At one point during the show, the audience collectively raised red roses, transforming the venue into a sea of flowers. Beyond the performances, Taeyong’s ment segments played a crucial role in shaping the concert’s tone. Speaking candidly and humorously, he shared stories about his life after completing mandatory military service. His jokes about losing muscles and even airline baggage fees drew laughter from the crowd and showcased his down-to-earth personality. During his ending ment, he also teased future schedules, adding that Taeyong will fill fans’ 2026 not only with a solo comeback, but also with activities from NCT and its subunit NCT 127.

The ‘TY TRACK – REMASTERED’ tour also represents an important chapter in Taeyong’s career following his military service. For many fans, the Jakarta concert symbolized a reunion. Loud chants, synchronized reactions, and emotional responses turned the venue into a space filled with collective energy. Jakarta’s enthusiastic response served as proof that his connection with Sijeuni remains strong and continues to grow.
