BLACKPINK Brings Their Global Spectacle to Jakarta with the “DEADLINE” World Tour

The world’s most influential girl group, BLACKPINK, delivered a breathtaking performance at the Stadion Utama Gelora Bung Karno on November 1 and 2, 2025, as part of their DEADLINE: World Tour. Returning to Indonesia after several years, the quartet Lisa, Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé proved once again why they remain at the forefront of global pop culture.

The DEADLINE: World Tour began months earlier in Goyang, South Korea, and has since crossed oceans and continents from North America to Europe, leaving trails of glittering confetti and unforgettable nights. Yet, there was something particularly electric about Jakarta. Perhaps it was the tropical air, the warmth of the audience, or the sense that this stop was meant to be something special.

Over the course of nearly three hours, BLACKPINK delivered a setlist of close to 30 songs, seamlessly blending their chart-topping anthems with powerful solo performances. The show opened with the explosive energy of DDU-DU DDU-DU and Kill This Love, and continued with fan favorites such as Boombayah and their latest release, JUMP. Each member brought her own creative identity to the spotlight: Lisa commanded the stage with Alterego and Rockstar, Jisoo delivered Hugs & Kiss and Earthquake, Jennie performed Like Jennie and Starlight, while Rosé offered a stirring finale with Number One Girl and APT.

Even the weather couldn’t dim the night’s brilliance. A sudden downpour drenched the stadium, but instead of dampening spirits, it seemed to elevate them. Fans sang louder, jumped higher, and screamed harder. “You’re the loudest crowd we’ve had so far,” Rosé said, laughing in awe. It was one of those unfiltered moments that defined the connection between BLACKPINK and their audience spontaneous, genuine, and deeply human.

But beyond the spectacle, the concert was laced with moments of warmth that spoke to who BLACKPINK are behind the glamour. A clip of Rosé devouring Indonesia’s beloved nasi goreng and sate flashed on the big screen, sending waves of laughter through the audience. Later, in a touching scene, she invited a young girl wearing a “Number One Girl” T-shirt onto the stage, a fleeting but beautiful reminder that even global superstars never forget the power of small gestures.

As the encore approached, the group returned to the stage with glowing smiles. Lisa emerged in a skirt boldly printed with “JAKARTA,” a nod to the city that had embraced them with open arms. Fireworks erupted overhead, illuminating the night as fans raised their lightsticks one last time, their cheers echoing long after the final note faded.

BLACKPINK’s DEADLINE: World Tour in Jakarta was more than a concert, it was a cultural event that reaffirmed the group’s immense influence and the enduring bond between artist and audience. For two electrifying nights, Jakarta became the epicenter of global pop, where music, emotion, and unity came together under the dazzling glow of BLACKPINK’s world.
