Hyeri’s First Fan Meeting in Jakarta ‘Welcome to HYERI’s Studio’: A Night of Charm, Talent, and Endless Fan Service
Lee Hyeri, beloved South Korean singer, actress, and all-around entertainer, was finally here for her first-ever fan meeting in Indonesia called ‘Welcome to HYERI’s Studio.’ The fan meeting was held on Saturday, 9 August 2025, at The Kasablanka Hall, Jakarta. Hours before showtime, hundreds of fans had already gathered, clutching banners, and carefully prepared fan letters. For many, this wasn’t just another K-pop related event, it was the moment they had been waiting for.
At 6.30 PM, the show started. A low rumble of bass filled the room, and the chatter was instantly replaced with screams. Then, the opening beats of aespa’s “Whiplash” kicked in. A spotlight hit center stage, and there she was. Hyeri strode out wearing a fitted half-shoulder top and black pants. Her hair, styled in stright and half pony tails, caught the light as she moved. From the very first, she was in full performer mode. Her expressions shifted flawlessly between fierce and playful, her performance radiated confidence and the audience could feel it. It wasn’t just a cover performance, it was Hyeri making the song her own. When the song ended, she took a deep breath, smiled widely, and in clear greeted the crowd, “Halo, Jakarta. Nama saya Hyeri!” The hall exploded again. Her pronunciation was so spot-on.

After the powerful opening, the atmosphere shifted into something warmer, more intimate. Hyeri took a seat on stage and chatted with the audience, expressing her joy at finally being in Indonesia. Known for her extroverted personality, she jumped into a series of interactive games with fans. The first game was Shooting Bottles. A table was set up with bottles, and Hyeri, holding a toy gun, took aim. The crowd cheered each time she knocked one down, and when she missed, she let out a dramatic gasp that sent fans into laughter.
Next was Stacking Chairs, which turned into an unintentional comedy skit. As she tried to balance the small chairs on top of each other, the tower wobbled dangerously. She is making exaggerated faces every time the stack leaned. One of the loudest moments came during the Claw Machine Game. Hyeri managed to win plush toys, then suddenly the machine was broken for several times and she was frustrated because of the machine. But she finally win and can reward fans by covering “I’ll Be Yours” which is her song with her former girl group Girl’s Day and dressing up in a marine costume complete with a sailor hat, and struck her best poses in every corner of the stage.

Then, the tone changed. Hyeri switched gears into “Move” by Taemin. Her gaze turned sultry, her movements fluid and hypnotic. The transition from cheerful idol to magnetic performer was seamless. Midway through the night, Hyeri did something that elevated the fan meeting from great to unforgettable. She came down from the stage and began walking among the audience. She handed out gifts; hand-signed balls, plush dolls, and little souvenirs, making sure to greet fans along the way. She smiled, waved, and chat briefly with some lucky fans in the front rows. It was personal, warm, and genuine.
As the evening continued, a video montage played on the big screen, recounting Hyeri’s journey from her early days with Girl’s Day to her acclaimed acting roles in dramas and films. It’s a fan project were interspersed with heartfelt messages from Indonesian fans, thanking her for inspiring them. “I’m really thankful for each of you. From my days as an idol to now as an actress, you’ve stayed by my side. I won’t forget this night,” she said. Her eyes glistened with tears, and she wiped them away with a small laugh, as if embarrassed by her own emotions. But the crowd responded with even louder chants of her name, a wave of support and affection that filled the entire hall.
As the night drew to a close, Hyeri thanked everyone again, her eyes sweeping across the hall as if trying to take in every single face. She ended with one last smile, a deep bow, and a promise to return to Indonesia soon. This wasn’t just about seeing a celebrity, it was about witnessing an artist who genuinely values her fans.
