EXO’s Kai Heats Up Jakarta with Passionate Solo Concert and Heartfelt Moments with EXO-Ls

EXO’s Kai set the stage on fire during his solo concert, 2025 KAI Solo Concert Tour “KAION” in Jakarta, held at Tennis Indoor Senayan on Saturday, June 14, 2025. The concert, promoted by CK Star Entertainment, was filled with unforgettable moments that showcased the EXO main dancer’s powerful performance and deep affection for his fans.

Even during the soundcheck, Kai was visibly moved by the enthusiastic cheers of EXO-Ls in Jakarta.

“I’ve always known how much energy you all have,” Kai said. “But experiencing it in person hits so much harder.”

Switching effortlessly into Bahasa Indonesia, he added, “You’re already amazing, but let’s warm up first for the concert, okay? Are you ready? Let me hear your voices!”

The show was opened with electrifying performances of Sinner, Mmmh, and Nothing On Me, Kai captivated the audience from the very beginning.

After a short break, he took a moment to express how much he missed his Indonesian fans, recalling his last visit in 2019 during EXO Planet #5 – EXplOration.

“I’ve missed you all so much. Did you miss me too? I think I missed you more,” he said. “It’s been nearly six years since the last time I was here. How did you manage to wait this long? Before we talk more, let’s hug one more time,” he added, making a hugging gesture that sent fans into a frenzy.

Kai also shared the inspiration behind the name KAION, “It combines ‘Kai’ and ‘On,’ with the Greek word ‘Aion,’ which means eternity,” he explained. “So, Kai on stage represents the beginning of something eternal.”

To ease the fans’ longing, Kai performed iconic EXO choreography from fan-favorite tracks such as My Lady, Baby Don’t Cry, and Angel.

“How were those EXO songs?” he asked. “My Lady was the first one I performed as EXO. With Baby Don’t Cry, we encouraged each other, and with Angel, we shared so many memories.”

As the concert progressed, Kai challenged EXO-Ls with even more intense performances. “Is it hot in here? I’m sweating too. But are you ready to make it even hotter?” he teased. “Let’s enjoy this together until we’re all drenched in sweat!”

One of the most surprising and playful moments came when Kai started teasing fans affectionately. “There’s a reason it’s so hot because I’m singing with love for all my EXO-Ls,” he said. “Your mouths are wide open like this so cute I want to bite you. Should I? Hold out your hands!”

He added, “Whenever I go on stage, I imagine your reactions. From soundcheck, I could already feel it but you always go beyond my expectations. Jakarta, you’re absolutely insane!” Kai continued to joke and flirt with fans, even asking them for kisses in return for his affection. “Tonight’s energy is truly the best,” he said. “Each country on this tour has been like a love battle between me and the fans, and of course, I love EXO-L Jakarta the most. I wanted to win this battle, but I guess I lost tonight.”

“I usually don’t give in so easily, but you really are the best. I love you. Just saying that feels like I’ve lost. Do you want to love me even more? Then kiss me kiss me now. I’ve seen you all, come on, kiss!”

Toward the end of the show, Kai surprised everyone by appearing in traditional Indonesian batik attire. He also acknowledged the special nickname given to him by local fans: Zulkidin. Wearing the batik shirt, he posed for photos and performed the final song of the night. “This is traditional clothing batik. I feel so happy and honored,” he said. “Please stay healthy until I return. You’ve captured everything with your eyes and your hearts, right? Until I come back, keep watching, keep kissing. I truly felt your love tonight. EXO-L Jakarta, I love you all. Kiss kiss!”

As with other EXO members’ concerts, Kai concluded the night with the iconic EXO chant with fans and promised a return both for another solo concert and hopefully with his fellow EXO members. “As you all say We Are One,” he said. “We are? One! EXO? Saranghaja! I’ll be back again for sure. I know your energy now, so not just once next time, I’ll come twice. And I’ll bring the EXO members with me too.”
