BTS’s J-Hope successfully lit up the hearts of Indonesian ARMYs with his solo concert “HOPE ON THE STAGE,” marking his grand return to Jakarta after several years. Held at Indonesia Arena, GBK, the concert ran for two consecutive nights on May 3 and 4, 2025, and was promoted by iMe Indonesia.
Day 1 of the concert turned into an unforgettable night for fans, packed with vibrant energy, emotional moments, and personal touches from J-Hope himself. Performing a total of 27 songs, including three powerful encore tracks, J-Hope captivated the audience from beginning to end during the two-hour show from 7 PM to 9 PM local time.

“Apa kabar Jakarta? Mana suaranya? Lantai bawah, lantai satu, lantai dua!” he called out, prompting a deafening response from fans throughout the arena.
As we are getting to the end of the concert, J-Hope shared a heartfelt moment, reminiscing about his last visit to Jakarta with BTS in 2017.
“It’s been a long time since we last met. The last time I was in Jakarta was with the members back in 2017,” he said, drawing emotional reactions and nostalgia from long-time ARMYs.
Adding a personal touch, J-Hope also revealed that Indonesia ranks high among his Instagram followers by country.
“I can see follower stats by country on Instagram, and Indonesia is near the top. That’s probably why your energy tonight is so amazing,” he said, met with thunderous applause. “I can really feel your love,” he added, his eyes sparkling with gratitude.
The atmosphere was electric from the synchronized wave of ARMY Bomb lightsticks to the crowd singing along in harmony. The Indonesian ARMY’s energy left a deep impression on J-Hope. “Indonesian ARMYs are truly special. So full of passion, and your response tonight is incredible,” he said.
He also delighted fans with a shout-out to Indonesian cuisine. “Since it’s been a while since I’ve been here, I wanted to enjoy all kinds of experiences — and yes, I ate a lot of delicious food yesterday. It gave me so much energy for today’s show,” J-Hope laughed.
“There’s so much good food here. Sate?” he added, sending fans into fits of laughter.
Before wrapping up the concert with his encore performance, J-Hope left fans with a sweet and heartfelt message: “Because you enjoyed this show, I want to say thank you. I love you,” he said.
It was more than just a concert, HOPE ON THE STAGE was a moment of healing and reunion for fans longing to see J-Hope again. For the Indonesian ARMY, it wasn’t just a performance, it was a beautiful memory they’ll hold close until the next time.
