Wave to Earth Stuns Jakarta with ‘Play with Earth 0.03 World Tour’

The South Korean indie band wave to earth successfully captivated their Jakarta audience during their Play with Earth 0.03 World Tour, held at Istora Senayan. Organized by CK Star ID, the concert delivered a mesmerizing experience, leaving fans—known as Plankton—in awe.

The trio, Kim Daniel, Dong Kyusin, and John Cha, set the tone for the night with a stunning opening performance featuring “are you bored,” “play with earth,” and “peace eye.” As the setlist progressed, the band members were visibly moved by the overwhelming energy of the audience. The moment that stood out the most was during “Bas”, when the passionate crowd sang so powerfully that Kim Daniel paused to let them take over the chorus entirely.

“Hello, Jakarta!” greeted Kim Daniel, acknowledging the electrifying enthusiasm of the crowd.

One of the concert’s most touching moments occurred during “Love”, when fans surprised the band with a special light project. Thousands of Plankton synchronized their phone flashlights, creating a breathtaking sea of lights that complemented the song’s emotional depth. Many also sang along, adding to the heartwarming atmosphere.

“Hello, Indonesia! Did you miss us? I missed you too. Thank you for coming. Are you happy? Thank you, I love you,” said Dong Kyusin, forming a heart symbol with his hands, to which the audience responded with resounding cheers.

John Cha further fueled the excitement, urging, “Hello everyone! Are you ready to sing with us? Let’s do it together!” as he led the crowd into an interactive and unforgettable musical experience.

The concert continued with a repertoire of fan-favorite songs, building up to the final performance before the encore—“annie.” However, the audience was not ready to say goodbye just yet. Chants of “Encore! Encore! We want more!” echoed throughout the venue, prompting the band to return to the stage for an extended set.

During the encore, wave to earth performed “wave”, once again prompting fans to illuminate the venue with their phone lights, enhancing the show’s magical ambiance. The night concluded with a heartfelt rendition of “seasons”, leaving everyone immersed in a bittersweet yet fulfilling experience.

“Thank you, everyone. Indonesia is, number one in Asia. Thank you for making tonight so unforgettable and for being here with us,” said John Cha, expressing his gratitude.

Dong Kyusin closed the night with a simple yet powerful, “Thank you, Jakarta.”

The Play with Earth 0.03 World Tour in Jakarta proved to be a resounding success, reinforcing wave to earth’s deep connection with their Indonesian fans and setting the stage for future unforgettable performances. Witnessing their performances live was a blessing.
