South Korean Indie Band ‘wave to earth’ Announces Jakarta Stop on Global Tour

Music enthusiasts in Jakarta are in for a treat as the South Korean indie band, wave to earth, has announced their highly anticipated return to Indonesia as part of their wave to earth 0.03 World Tour. The concert is scheduled to take place on 13 February 2025, promising an enchanting musical experience filled with the band’s signature romantic and dreamy melodies.

Following their successful first solo concert and previous tour segment, The First Era Concert, in February 2024, the band is set to perform in Jakarta once again. This marks the third time wave to earth will grace the Indonesian stage, reinforcing their growing popularity among Southeast Asian audiences. The group, composed of Daniel Kim (vocalist), John Cha (bassist), and Shin Dongkyu (drummer), has steadily built an international following with their distinctive indie-pop sound infused with lo-fi aesthetics and jazz-influenced drumming.

Originating from Seoul, South Korea, wave to earth has carved a unique niche in the indie music scene. Their commitment to creative independence is encapsulated in their motto, “All Self-made.” Every aspect of their production, including recording, mixing, and mastering, is meticulously handled by the band members themselves. Furthermore, they take charge of the visual components, overseeing album artwork, music videos, and fashion direction, ensuring a cohesive artistic identity.

The band made their debut in 2019 with the single wave, later releasing EPs wave 0.01 and summer flows 0.02. Their latest album, play with earth! 0.03, released in September 2024, received widespread acclaim, debuting at #5 on Spotify’s Global Top Debut Album chart. The overwhelming reception of the album propelled them into the 0.03 World Tour, which saw remarkable success in North America, where all shows were sold out. The tour now continues across Europe, Asia, and Southeast Asia, further cementing wave to earth’s influence on the global music stage.

• To check Seat Number and Queue Number, refresh the E-Voucher at least 5 days before the event.
• No re-entry allowed once the E-Voucher has been scanned.

• No professional cameras, DSLRs, polaroid cameras, video cameras, GoPros, external phone lenses, selfie sticks, telezoom, tripods, or monopods are permitted.
• No live streaming using any electronic device.
• Disruptive behavior will result in removal from the venue.
