“CLAP CLAP, SEVENTEEN RIGHT HERE!” RIDING THE WAVE IN SEVENTEEN RIGHT HERE WORLD TOUR IN JAKARTA

2 days in a row, 8th and 9th February 2025, SEVENTEEN was really RIGHT HERE in the middle of CARAT (SEVENTEEN’s fandom name) in the majestic world tour named SEVENTEEN RIGHT HERE WORLD TOUR IN JAKARTA at the Jakarta International Stadium. Following SEVENTEEN last tour in Indonesia 2 years ago as an encore for SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR BE THE SUN, SEVENTEEN’s arrival this time for SEVENTEEN RIGHT HERE WORLD TOUR IN JAKARTA was very touching and became a very long wait which their fans had always dreamed of. CARAT (SEVENTEEN’s fandom name) who had filled the venue since noon seemed ready to get along with the vibes. At Jakarta International Stadium, many photo spots and CARAT ZONE (spots dedicated to the fandom) were spread left and right at the venue prepared by MECIMAPRO as promoter for this incredible event. 

The time has come – the concert is about to begin! Loud cheers of CARAT were enthusiastically waiting for SEVENTEEN to appear on stage. Music starts! Rocking melody with beat tempo and fire graphic shown on big screen on stage became the entrance for the intro stage. They opened their first performance with “FEAR“, which is a song from their album “An Ode” released in 2019. It perfectly set the vibes to gather stamina from CARAT as it continued to the next song “FEARLESS” and “MAESTRO” felt like the setlists were such a theatrical plot. 

It’s time for their ment, Hoshi (the performance leader of SEVENTEEN and known as a ‘tiger’ of the group) started to lead the crowd for his tiger agenda. “Put your tiger signs up!” and unexpectedly he said “MAUNG HAE!” (Maung is a sundanese for tiger) as interchange words for his trademark “HORANG HAE“. All SEVENTEEN members greeted CARAT one by one and expressed their gratitude for everyone who attended the concert and as 9th February was their last concert in Jakarta, they promised they will give their best and hope CARAT will also enjoy the concert happily. In the middle of the ment, Dokyeom (one of SEVENTEEN members) sang his original soundtrack song for Kdrama’s ‘Twenty Five Twenty One‘ entitled “GO!” made fans surprised and cheered for him. 

The stage was lit up again with the next performance, “ASH” took the turn straight continuing with “CRUSH“. On to the next stage, it’s time for the SEVENTEEN Unit performance. Starting with S.Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu, Vernon as a whole HipHop Unit heats up the euphoria with “WATER” and “MONSTER“. To neutralize the heat which came from both the venue and HipHop Unit, Performance Unit raised their mic for the next performance with a swaying melody which made CARAT wanted to dance all night long. Hoshi, The8, and Dino performed “RAIN” and “LILILI YABBAY“. As a cooling down phase, the Vocal Unit which consists of Woozi, Joshua, DK, and Seungkwan made an appearance to perform heartwarming songs “CANDY” and “CHEERS TO YOUTH“. 

Not stop from there, the performance continued with “OUR DAWN IS HOTTER THAN DAY“, “NOT ALONE“, “OH MY!“, “SNAP SHOOT“, “GODS OF MUSIC“, and “IMA- EVEN IF THE WORLD ENDS TOMORROW“. It’s not SEVENTEEN if they were not made a humorous skit up to the stage as we can saw they performed dance battle with the dancers in JUMANJI vibes, freestyle dances with the spontaneous beat from their live bandmate, interactive greetings with indonesian slangs that very locals like “Waduh…. waduh…“, “Sayang sekali…“, “Maap…”, “Mana suaranya?”, “Hari ini senang?”, “Terima kasih-imnida.”

One of SEVENTEEN members, Seungkwan, said to the audience that they were really sorry as Indonesia was not made to their world tour stop last year and to give back for the CARAT’s energy last night they sang three songs from previous world tour setlists to sing along. “CLAP“, “LEFT & RIGHT“, “FUCK MY LIFE“, and “HEADLINER“. As CARAT diligently sang along wholeheartedly, SEVENTEEN mentioned that CARAT for these 2 days of concerts were the best.

The stage was busy again as SEVENTEEN prepared the next boombastic songs to liven up the night. “HOME“, “LOVE, MONEY, FAME“, “MARCH” and “SUPER” successfully roared up the stage and CARAT cheers echoed in the whole stadium. The choreography, the outfit, the energy, the vocals, and last but not least the fireworks added the extra for their performance.

Near the end of the show, SEVENTEEN members got up to the 4 trains and toured around the sections from south, east, west, and north to greet fans closer. They waved to the fans, made many interactions, flying kisses, smiles and nods they shared while singing “ADORE YOU“, “BOUT YOU“, “CAMPFIRE“. and last but not least the neverending “VERY NICE” really wrapped up the show. As SEVENTEEN mentioned many times, they surely will come back here in Indonesia and “Sampai jumpa lagi…” can be a strong word for CARAT who will patiently wait for the dearest SEVENTEEN at the next world tour.
