INFINITE Celebrates Their 15th Anniversary with A Sweet Reunion with Indonesia INSPIRIT at LIMITED EDITION in Jakarta
After a decade-long wait, INFINITE made their long-awaited return to Jakarta, thrilling fans with a spectacular 15th-anniversary concert titled LIMITED EDITION. Their last visit to the city was in 2015, and this reunion was nothing short of extraordinary for both the group and Indonesian INSPIRIT.
As promised by the concert’s title, the performance was truly a limited edition experience, offering fans a unique blend of nostalgia and excitement. The concert featured new songs, individual member solo performances, and—most notably—classic hits that transported fans back to the early days of INFINITE’s career. From their debut tracks to their latest releases, the concert was a journey through INFINITE’s evolution, rekindling the passion of fans who had been waiting for this reunion for 10 long years.
For INSPIRIT, particularly the second-generation K-pop fans, it was an emotional night of reminiscence. The concert allowed fans to relive the moments when they used to listen to INFINITE’s songs on repeat, reigniting their inner fangirl and fanboy energy. The members themselves were visibly moved by the immense energy from the Indonesian fans, with some members playfully wondering why they had waited so long to return to Indonesia. Their connection with the audience was so intense as to seem almost tangible, and the atmosphere was electric throughout the entire performance.
INFINITE showed their dedication to their Indonesian fans by communicating in Bahasa Indonesia. The group effortlessly incorporated words like ‘jayus’ (no fun), ‘ciyus?’ (for real?), ‘cintaku’ (my love), and ‘kece’ (cool) into their interactions with the crowd. What made this even more impressive was that they used the terms in the correct context, further endearing themselves to the fans. They even copied fans’ chant “gak mau pulang, maunya digoyang!” (we don’t want to go home, we still want to dance!)
What made this concert even more special was its unpredictable setlist. Unlike previous stops on their tour, there was no fixed setlist, which added an element of surprise and excitement. Fans were treated to a variety of songs, making each performance feel fresh and unique. As the concert neared its conclusion, the group hosted a fun karaoke session that allowed INSPIRIT to sing along with their beloved artists, turning the event into an interactive party.
The three-and-a-half-hour concert flew by, thanks to INFINITE’s perfect balance of top-tier fan service, captivating dance routines, and powerful vocal performances. The lighthearted jokes, playful bickering between members, and the constant exchange of energy with the audience ensured that every moment was filled with joy, both for INFINITE and INSPIRIT. It was clear that the fans in attendance would cherish the memories of that night for years to come, and the hope for another reunion—hopefully not in another 10 years—was strong among the crowd.
Just like their name INFINITE, the unwavering support from INSPIRIT and the boundless love from INFINITE towards their fans feels eternal. This concert was a proof to the enduring bond between the group and their loyal fans.
A special thanks to CK Star for bringing INFINITE to Jakarta and allowing fans to experience this unforgettable karaoke-party-concert fusion. Until next time, INFINITE and INSPIRIT!
