(G)I-DLE Brings Full Power and Energy to Thai Neverland at the “2024 (G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR [iDOL] IN BANGKOK” — A Show Packed with Fun, Emotions, and Surprises!

An unforgettable experience down to every minute! The world tour concert of “(G)I-DLE,” the beloved girl group with a strong Thai fan base, left lasting impressions. All five members — Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua — created memorable moments during the “2024 (G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR [iDOL] IN BANGKOK” held on Saturday, October 19th, at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani. Organized by AEG Presents Asia and iMe Thailand, the concert dazzled fans with grand production lasting over 2.5 hours. Fans, known as “NEVERLAND,” were thrilled beyond measure, captivated by each group and solo performance.

From the opening VCR introducing the five members, the powerful start with “Super Lady” had the whole hall in awe. The excitement continued with hits like “Revenge” and “LATATA.” The group greeted the crowd in Thai and got everyone cheering, introducing themselves with Thai names given by Minnie, the Thai member. Miyeon became “Mayuree,” Soyeon “Soriya,” Yuqi “Yuwadee,” and Shuhua “Chutima,” adding a personal touch for their fans.

The solo stages kicked off with Shuhua’s stunning dance cover of “Water,” earning thunderous applause. Yuqi followed with her charismatic performance of “Radio (Dum-Dum),” while Minnie, the group’s only Thai member, invited everyone to sing along to “Like a Dream,” a soundtrack from the popular series Lovely Runner. Minnie even wore a Thai school uniform as a special gesture for the Bangkok stage. Soyeon turned up the heat with her rap in “Is this bad b****** number?” electrifying the crowd, and Miyeon closed the solo performances with her high notes in “Sky Walking.”

After a short break, the girls returned to the stage with a medley of fun, high-energy songs like “Wife,” “Uh-Oh,” “Klaxon,” “Fate,” “Allergy,” and “Never Stop Me.” Fans and idols alike were on their feet, dancing non-stop. Following another brief break, they reignited the energy with powerful tracks “LION,” “POP/STARS,” and “MY BAG,” making fans wish the night would never end. For the encore, they performed “Queencard” and “TOMBOY,” with the stage going dark only to hear fans chanting for more. The girls came back with “i’M THE TREND,” making sure the concert ended on a high note.

As they bid farewell, the members expressed heartfelt gratitude to their “Neverland,” with Minnie shedding tears of joy, fulfilling a 20-year dream to perform at Impact Arena in front of her home audience. Fans reciprocated their love with a special banner project reading, “힘들때도 네버랜드가 항상 옆에 있을게요” (translation: “Even in tough times, Neverland will always be by your side”). The show ended with a heartfelt rendition of the Thai song “Phob Rak” by Ink Waruntorn, followed by “Bloom” and “Neverland,” making a perfect farewell. With glowing fans in the audience holding a sign that read “IDLE ∞,” the concert concluded as a beautiful memory, with a promise that “(G)I-DLE” will return next year!
