A Night to Remember with Taemin in Ephemeral Gaze in Jakarta.

Taemin from SHINee has successfully held his first solo concert in Jakarta at Tennis Indoor Senayan last night. The concert title is 2024 TAEMIN WORLD TOUR [Ephemeral Gaze] IN JAKARTA and promoted by iMe Indonesia.

Deja vu, Guilty and Advice were in the opening list and Taemin did a amazing opening since the first song. Taemin,  magnae of SHINee also express his happiness to be back to Jakarta since his last visit on 2014. During his first ment he greeted Taemate (fans of Taemin) with Indonesian language “Apa kabar Jakarta? This is Taemin. It has been a long time since my last visit on June 2014. I have visited Jakarta for SHINee concert. Has anyone here came for the concert?” he asked. He also said he was so happy because he could see all fans last night.

He also shared his worry towards the fans during the fans wait for the concert. Taemin told that Korea was cold these days, He asked how was Jakarta? How were you guys when wait for me at the outside? Was it hot?” this guy is the sweetest!

Taemin also explained the meaning of Ephemeral Gaze, “It means a fleeting gaze. When we look at people and objects, it depends on our perspective, which could be change. But the object itself doesn’t change, it’s only our view that shifts. That’s what I want to express here,”

Next to the second ment, Taemin asked the fans “For this first tour, I’ve prepared a lot of songs that I hope you’ll enjoy. What kind of songs do you want to hear?” Taemates were shouted some title but mostly request Press Your Number. Taemin nodded while he asked fans how was the second performances of him? “How was it? It was more ballad right?”

The third segment was continued by G.O.A.T, The Rizzness and Sexy in the Air. He performed with all red outfit and dance along with the dancers. Before jump to the next session, he needs to switch his mic into the ear set microphone. During the switch, the stylist and team helped him swap the sweat and fans shouted 귀여워 (gwiyeowo) which means cute. He refused to be called cute by fans. “Am I cute? Really? Ah, you guys are cute too. No, I’m not cute. You’re cute! When I look at you from the stage, you’re all like this (mimicking a chin-holding pose), so adorable,” he responded. Happy to tease back his fans, he continue performing his songs, Move, Want, Criminal and Horizon.

Taemin appeared to stage so refresh and dressed in a white jersey with the number 7, bringing high energy while performing Danger and Crush. “Wow, I can’t believe the concert is almost over. Earlier at soundcheck, I could feel your incredible enthusiasm, so I wanted to give you a gift” and Taemin performed Hypnosis as the gift.

“I can feel the love from all of you. I’ll do my best to keep coming back here. I’ll keep striving to be an artist who can inspire each one of you. Thanks to all of you, I feel such beautiful energy. Are you all happy too? Will you come again next time, promise? The next song is ‘Say Less.’ I love you all.”
