Zico, BOYNEXTDOOR, OneRepublic, Lauv, and More to Perform at SUMMER SONIC BANGKOK this August
“SUMMER SONIC BANGKOK” is gearing up to bring world-class artists to the stage for two full days of electrifying performances. This global festival is making its debut in Thailand, organized by BANGKOK CONNECT in collaboration with official sponsors such as Government Savings Bank, Krungthai Bank, Dewar’s Club, -196 more.
Fans can look forward to a fully immersive experience with special activities spread across every corner of Impact Challenger, Muang Thong Thani on 24 – 25 August, 2024. The event will feature two stages: the Mega Stage and the Rising Stage, ensuring non-stop entertainment throughout.
Kicking off on Saturday, August 24, 2024, the Mega Stage will set the tone for the festival with an electrifying lineup. American rock band ONEREPUBLIC will lead the charge, followed by indie rock sensations from the UK, LOVEJOY. Fans can also catch the popular K-POP boy band BOYNEXTDOOR, the hot Korean rapper ZICO, and the renowned J-POP boy band TRAVIS JAPAN. Adding to the excitement are hot dance and vocal group from Japan PSYCHIC FEVER and top Thai acts BODYSLAM (featuring special guests BABYMETAL and F.HERO), BRIGHT, GETSUNOVA, and PHUM VIPHURIT.
The excitement continues on Sunday, August 25, 2024, with legendary brit rock band SUEDE rocking the day. Joining them are rockers NOTHING BUT THIEVES, global modern jazz sensation LAUFEY, and Norwegian singer AURORA. The stage will also feature American indie star LAUV headlining the day, rising sensation HENRY MOODIE, and Korean artist TOMIKITA (featuring HANJELLA). Fans can also enjoy performances from the famous J-POP duo YOASOBI, world champion of beatbox crew SARUKANI, and Thai artist VIOLETTE WAUTIER.
In addition, “SUMMER SONIC BANGKOK” features a special Rising Stage dedicated to promoting Thai artists on a global scale. This stage aims to enhance Thailand’s image and reputation in tourism, music, and culture, showcasing Thai talent to an international audience. Over the two days, the Rising Stage will present a variety of Thai artists including PAIIINNTT, HED, CLOCKWORK MOTIONLESS, THE WHITE HAIR CUT, SHERRY, and more.
