“Run 2 U” Running Man Live in Jakarta Has Successfully Entertained Indonesian Fans After a Five-Year Wait

“Run 2 U” Running Man Live in Jakarta was successfully held at the Indonesia Arena on Saturday, August 10, 2024. This event, a collaboration between SBS, ACM, Pulp Live World, and LMPE, brought together Running Man members to meet and interact with fans in Jakarta through a vibrant mix of music, games, and heartfelt interactions.

The presence of Yoo Jae Seok, Jee Seok Jin, Kim Jong Kook, Song Ji Hyo, Yang Se Chan, and HAHA was a special moment for the thousands of fans in Jakarta, marking the return of the Running Man members after a five-year hiatus since their fan meeting in Jakarta in 2019.

The Running Man members opened the event with BTS’s “Spring Day,” captivating the audience. They not only delivered a stellar group performance but also excelled in their solo stages. The show started with Song Ji Hyo performing BIBI’s “Bam Yang Gang,” followed by Jee Seok Jin with John Legend’s “All of Me,” Yang Se Chan with Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” HAHA with RBZ’s “Ice Bottle,” Kim Jong Kook with his song “A Man” and Adele’s “Easy on Me,” and Yoo Jae Seok with Yoosanseul’s “Redevelopment of Love.”

The excitement of the event was heightened by SRG’s performance, produced by HAHA, featuring engaging collaborations, including “Treasure” by Bruno Mars and their original song “Baby Be Mine.” Se Chan and HAHA’s performance of “Dang Diggi Bang” with SRG also became a major highlight, adding to the festive atmosphere. Additionally, romantic duets between Ji Hyo and Jong Kook and a comedy segment involving Yoo Jae Seok, Ji Hyo, Se Chan, and HAHA in special costumes provided impressive entertainment for the audience.

The “Run 2 U” Running Man Live in Jakarta also featured entertaining game segments. Hosted by Indra Herlambang, the six Running Man members played mini-games that had fans laughing. The game “Who is Mr. Pan?” split the members into two teams to take turns attacking and defending with pot lids and foam sticks. Fans were involved through a lottery, with lucky winners getting a chance to join the members on stage and play directly with them.

The Running Man members also participated in a cosplay game, changing into funny costumes as quickly as possible and continuing their mission by engaging with fans, such as

high-fiving and sticking stickers to certain audience criteria. The interaction between the Running Man members and fans increased with a cosplay award segment, where six fans with the best costumes were invited on stage to shake hands, hug, and receive exclusive gifts from each member.
