Exciting Night with Red Velvet and Key at LAZADA FEST 12.12 in Jakarta

Lazada Online Shopping Mall successfully held the Lazada Festival 12.12 music concert on December 13, 2023, at the Indonesia Arena, Jakarta. Starting from Indonesian musicians and artists such as Rizky Febianand Vierratale to Korean artists Key SHINee and Red Velvet, the evening was also enlivened. The first performance was opened by a musician and singer from Indonesia, Rizky Febian. For a full hour, he sang some of his hit songs, such as “Kesempurnaan Cinta,” “Ego,” and “Cuek.” As Rizky’s performance ended, the audience became increasingly loud, shouting for the second performing artist at this event. Who else could it be if not the girl group from South Korea, Red Velvet.

This girl group under SM Entertainment succeeded in making Reveluv (Red Velvet Fandom) amazed by their presence. The five members, Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri, are so beautiful and charming on stage. The five of them opened the performance with their latest song, “Chill Kill.” This is the first time “Chill Kill” has been sung live in front of Indonesian fans. We were all very excited and didn’t stop shouting fanchants throughout the song.

“Hello, we are Red Velvet!” they said after performing the first song. The next session, the members returned to the stage to play this or that game and guess the MV with the presenter. Not only singing one song and playing games, this girl group, which debuted in 2014, also performed several other hits, such as “Psycho,” “Feel My Rhythm,” “You Better Know,” and their performance ended with “Red Flavor.“

Not wanting to be outdone by Reveluv, the Shawols (SHINee Fandom), who had been waiting for their favorite artists to appear, have now become even more boisterous. They kept chanting Kim Kibum’s name until the artist appeared on stage. This SHINee member also opened his performance with “Good & Great,” which is his newest song in 2023. Key, who wore a neon blue costume, appeared energetic and charismatic with extraordinary vocal quality.

After the first song, Key also chatted and played dance battles and tongue-twister games with the host. Uniquely, Key is very fluent in tongue-twister games in Indonesian; his pronunciation is perfect to the point that the presenter is surprised and amazed at his skills. Meanwhile, in last night’s chat, he admitted that he really missed his fans in Indonesia. “I am happy to be back here after seven years. Hopefully SHINee can hold a concert here soon,” he said. The Shawols’ wait was answered at this event. Key continued his performance with “CoolAs,” “Gasoline,” and “Bad Love.”
