Lee Junho Asks Indonesian Fans Out on a Date at His First Jakarta Fan Meeting

Singer-actor Lee Junho of 2PM returned to Indonesia for his solo fan meeting entitled “LEE JUNHO 1st FANMEETING TOUR <JUNHO THE MOMENT 2023> IN JAKARTA” on November 25, 2023 at ICE BSD CITY Hall 5.

The venue filled with loud cheers as “Nobody Else” and “Canvas” officially opened the fan meeting. Wearing a gray top and black leather pants, the main vocalist and lead dancer of 2PM Lee Junho wowed the fans with his first performance of the show.

After delivering great performances, the artist flexed his Bahasa Indonesia mastery through a full lengthy ment. “Selamat datang ke acara fan meeting tour pertama saya ‘Junho The Moment 2023.’” He continued, ”Saya senang sekali datang ke Jakarta. Saya akan membuat hari ini dan momen ini menjadi kenangan yang bahagia.” Lee Junho then expressed his longing to the fans and closed the ment smoothly, “Semuanya, saya bener-bener kangen banget sama kalian!” 

The first segment of the fan meeting is a chit chat with Lee Junho through ‘Junho The Moment’ corner. Lee Junho was asked how he felt about coming back to Jakarta. Marking his first visit in eight years, Lee Junho thanked Indonesian fans for welcoming him. “The last time I came to Indonesia was in 2015 and last night when I arrived at the airport, everyone welcomed me extraordinarily. I sincerely thank everyone for your support and love,” he said.

On the first question, Lee Junho was asked what makes him happiest these days and he responded, “Right now.” The artist explained that the time he met Indonesian fans last night was the happiest moment for him. The fans totally agree as they feel the same with their favorite artist.

Moving to another question, fans are guessing what Lee Junho’s parents usually ask him. However, Lee Junho had a culture shock when he heard fans guessing that his parents were asking him a question like, “When will you get married?” and “When will you find a girlfriend?” which made the artist laugh and denied the guesses and explained that his parents are usually asked a question if he had eaten as he lives alone.

Lee Junho who’s been active as an actor for ten years talked some behind the scenes from his dramas through ‘Film The Moment’ corner. The screen displayed a scenes from the high-rating drama “The Red Sleeve” when Yi San (Lee Junho’s character) read a poem to Seong Deok Im and Yi San coronation. The fans were deeply nostalgic as Lee Junho recited the poem and goosebumps that they could feel Yi San’s presence on the stage. For the coronation scene, Lee Junho revealed that he needed three hours to film the scene. During the shoot, he said that his feelings were immersed to the story which made him want to keep crying.

Next is the most recent drama which succeeded to become the no.1 ranked on Netflix, “King The Land”. A scene when Guwon (Lee Junho’s character) mukbang an egg in the sauna was showed on the screen. Lee Junho revealed he had eaten about 15 to 20 eggs for the scene. Another fan favorite scene appeared on the screen where Guwon asked Sarang for a date which later Lee Junho reacted the scene in Bahasa Indonesia by saying, “Kamu bilang ‘ayo kita pergi makan’. Kalau gitu, kencan yuk! (You said, ‘Let’s go eat’. So, let’s go on a date)” that flutters the fans heart. The fans can’t hide their excitement as they scream to Lee Junho flirting.

Feels like Lee Junho wanted to grab fans heart even more as he continued to serenade fans with his beautiful voice through “Nothing But You”.

After last night’s fan meeting, we are sure that all the fans who attended the fan meeting couldn’t escape from Lee Junho’s charm, instead fall deeper for his sweetness and his great passion for singing, dancing, and acting.
