Nanon Korapat Shares His Desire to Star in Musical Drama and the Roles He Wants To Try in Future Projects

Thai heartthrob Nanon Korapat return to Indonesia for ‘‘NANON 1ST SOLO FANCON IN JAKARTA’ that was held on September 30, 2023 at Gandaria City Hall. Before the show, the actor-singer greets the media through a press conference.

Q: This is your second visit to Indonesia, right? Is there something you wanted to do or try on your first visit to Indonesia but were unable to do, so you would like to try it on this visit? 

A: In previous visits, I did not have the opportunity to meet with Indonesian fans directly. This time, I want to interact more closely with Indonesian fans

Q: Why does it take so long for you to meet Indonesian fans?

A: Oh, it takes so long, right? This time is the best opportunity to present a show for Indonesian fans!

Q: Do you have any surprises for tonight’s fancon?

A: Singing, I will sing a lot of songs~ 

Q: When traveling, what items do you always bring?

A: Handphone, that’s the most important thing. It is so functional, like when you are abroad you can make payments by phone.

Q: What makes you miss home when you’re abroad?

A: When I am abroad, I feel like I am an ambassador for cultural exchange. I can introduce Thai culture abroad. But I still miss my home (laugh)

Q: One thing you are most grateful for lately?

A: I am so grateful that I have more time for myself

Q: What role would you like to try for future projects?

A: I want to play a character who has many personalities, someone who has dissociative identity disorder (DID).

Q: Nanon has been played in series and movies, do you have a character in mind that you want to play? 

A: I’d like to play a detective character like Sherlock Holmes. Because the character is smart and genius. 

Q: Do you prefer romance or action, and please tell us the reason!

A: Drama 🙂 The reason is because I like painful things. I like mystery or horror dramas too.

Q: Are there any plans to collaborate with singers outside Thailand, perhaps a singer from Indonesia for your works?

A: (Ask the media) Do you have recommendations?

Media: Tiara Andini, because your voices can complement each other

A: Alright, I’ll consider it!

Q: “KNOCK KNOCK” feat Jorin 4EVE which was released 3 months ago has surpassed 5 million views. What do you think is the reason people like this song?

A: I think because the genre is popular these days. Also, the melody is catchy, easy listening.

Q: What do you usually do when you take a break from busyness?

A: If I have free time, I want to watch a series. Because when I’m busy working, I missed a lot of series

Q: When you watch a series, are you the type who will immediately finish the series in a day or watch it slowly?

A: If the series isn’t fun, I’ll stop at two episodes. But if the series is exciting like One Piece, I can immediately watch eight episodes in a day.

Q: Do you like to watch your own series?

A: I always watch every series that I star in for feedback, so I can improve it in the next series.

Q: Apart from singing and acting, is there anything else in the entertainment industry that you really want to try?

A: Musical drama!

A: I am very happy to be able to meet Indonesian fans today. Hopefully in the near future, I can return to Indonesia soon.
