Zhao Lusi Appointed as WeTV Global Brand Ambassador, GOT7 Jackson Wang to Be a Lead Mentor for Idol Survival “Chuang Asia” — WeTV 2024 Content Lineup Announcement
Reiterating its position as the best Asian entertainment platform, which has been providing viewers with fresh content for over 4 years, WeTV announced its latest mega campaign in the press conference entitled “WeTV ALWAYS MORE 2024” to launch the new global brand ambassador Zhao Lusi a Chinese megastar, and GOT7 Jackson Wang, who will assume the role of ‘Lead Mentor’ for the hit idol survival show “CHUANG ASIA”.


Furthermore, WeTV had unveiled part of its 2024 content lineups, which include the Chinese original series and a variety of Y-series in different flavors, in an effort to promote Thailand’s soft power in the global market.
The event featured a specially-created Orange Carpet for celebrated Thai actors and actresses to show off their star-studded appearance, this included Off- Jumpol Adulkittiporn, Gun- Atthaphan Phunsawat, Blue- Pongtiwat Tangwancharoen, Neo- Trai Nimtawat, Aungpao- Ochiris Suwanacheep, Toptap- Jirakit Kuariyakul, Fame- Chawinroj Likitcharoensakul, Mac- Nattapat Nimjirawat, Newyear- Nawapat Thanamongkolsawat, Jur- Vasin Traiprakhong, Best- Vittawin Veeravidhayanant, Seng- Wichai Saefant, Jaonine- Jiraphat Sodjam, Nokia- Chinnawat Phattharathanachot, and many more. It was held graciously in the Union Hall on the first floor of Union Mall Shopping Complex, Bangkok.

“WeTV has been presenting content from China, Thailand, Korea, and Japan over the past several years, this includes a wide range of series, dramas, films, anime, and variety shows. WeTV will now be focusing on creating Thai content in order to boost Thailand’s soft power and increase its recognition in the international market. The flagship projects for the end of 2023 include a number of original series, led by ‘Intern in My Heart,’ a romantic-comedy series scheduled to air at the same time as in China, and produced by BRAVO! Studios, a subsidiary of GMM Studios International, followed by the most anticipated exclusive series ‘Cooking Crush,’ starring Off-Jumpol and Gun-Atthaphan from GMMTV. Our goal for 2024 is to collaborate with top production companies like Kongthup Production, Dee Hup House, and Mandeework to develop around six to eight WeTV ORIGINAL series. Among the 2024 lineups, there are ‘Knock Knock, Boys!,’ ‘Monster Next Door,’ ‘I Saw You in My Dream,’ and ‘Fake Po’. On key highlights in 2024, Kanokporn underlined the launch CHUANG ASIA’s Thai edition as the company’s mega project.”
“For the first time, the Asia’s pioneering idol survival show originated by Tencent Video will search for the first idol girl group in Thailand to debut internationally. This will also be the show’s first-ever collaboration with Jackson Wang as the Lead Mentor. Moreover, the first girl group formed in the Thai edition will make their debut under RYCE Entertainment. The synergy with co-investors in Thailand and abroad, including Have Fun Media, RYCE Entertainment, one31, GMMTV, and 411 Entertainment will strengthen the show in terms of production and ensure world-class capability development for the talents to be debuted. CHAUNG ASIA will start airing in February 2024 with global viewability on WeTV, plus broadcasting on one31 channel in Thailand and on selected TV channels in Southeast Asia.”

The lighthearted romantic comedy series “Intern in My Heart,” which is created by BRAVO! Studios, a subsidiary of GMM Studios International, will be available on WeTV as original programming before the end of 2023. The show, which stars Blue-Pongtiwat, centers on Ray, a young man with ESP abilities who can mentally view a person’s past 24 hours. He was interned with a nasty employer named Rin, played by Cris Horwang, and he couldn’t help but fall in love with her. How will Ray use his special powers to gain Rin’s affection, and how will he assist her in becoming the next big thing in fashion? Let’s root for him together on WeTV.
WeTV ORIGINAL content for 2024 is set to delight fans of Y-series with an assortment of new productions, starting with the teens comedy “Knock Knock, Boys!,” which tells the tale of three playboy housemates who are joined by a new member who is a virgin and single, with its hilarious gags and occasionally educational facts, the series is sure to make you smile and chuckle. The lead actors est-Vittawin, Seng-Wichai, Jaonine-Jiraphat, and Nokia-Chinnawat are emerging performers recruited by HEADLINER Thailand, an entertainment division of Tencent Thailand. The romantic comedy “Monster Next Door” is based on a famous internet novel, guaranteed by the acclaimed Thai director Lit-Phadung Samajarn. The narrative follows the relationship between two young guys with very different personalities: P’Got, an extrovert who is ready to invade the world of N’Diew, a shy introvert living next door. People of all ages can watch the series, which promotes better understanding of oneself and others. Kongthup Production is the producer of these first two series. With the signature of Tee-Bundit Sintanaparadee, “I Saw You in My Dream,” produced by Dee Hup House, comes next in the 2024 Y-series lineups. It’s a romantic fantasy that will have everyone cheering for the happy ending of the main characters.
