Kim Bum Makes Thai Fans Swoon At Bangkok Fan Meeting

South Korea actor Kim Bum‘s fan meeting “2023 KIM BUM ASIA FAN MEETING IN BANGKOK [Between U and ME]” was well wrapped up. The show was held on Saturday, 16 September 2023 at the KBank Siam Pic-Ganesha Theater, 7th floor, Siam Square One and presented by BEX – an event organizer under Workpoint Group partnering with KINGKONG by STARSHIP, HS E&C and a kind sponsor “Poy-Sian”.

The show opened with a special performance of “Wind Song” and “Kiss the Rain,” which were an OST from “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938,” – the series that was hugely successful all over Asia. 

Kim Bum greeted in Thai, “Hello, I’m Kim Bum. How have you been doing? I miss everyone so much. Today, let’s make good and unforgettable memories together. ‘Between U and Me’ starts now.” 

The fan meeting was divided into two sections. There were three parts for the first half of the show. Part 1 was ‘BUM’s UPDATE’ which made fans know more about Kim Bum’s related stories through various keywords. Then, continue to the part 2 named ‘2023 KIM BUM AWARDS BANGKOK FAN’ presenting awards in various categories for Thai fans. Fans are also allowed to participate and help the actor to answer the question in part 3 ‘DANCING BUM’. On this part, there’s a penalty in which Kim Bum has to dance to K-pop hit songs like “Super Shy” by NewJeans, “After Like” by IVE, and “Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard’s Wife” by LE SSERAFIM. This section made the whole venue scream loudly with so much joy.

Before continuing to the second half of the show, Kim Bum performed “Because I’m stupid“, the nostalgic song from the series “Boys Over Flowers“. Kim Bum, as everyone’s ‘first love’ also surprised the fans by going down the stage to get closer and made the fans’ hearts melt completely! 

The next game session started with ‘BUM’s TMI’. Fans who answered every question correctly until the last question would get a chance to take a Polaroid photo and receive his hand signing on the spot. The following session was ‘CHALLENGE with BUM’. There’s a lucky draw session that randomly selects lucky fans to play games as a group. Kim Bum did prepare a special photocard for the winner. The next part was ‘BUM THERAPY’, in which fans could witness Kim Bum’s artistic skills after appreciating his singing, dancing, and strength skills. Kim Bum was such a whole package artist. He drew a picture on a glass which was limited as it’s only one piece in the world. It was a special gift that couldn’t be bought anywhere else and eventually was given to a lucky fan. There were more than 5 lucky fans getting a chance to take selfies with Kim Bum that left an unforgettable moment.

Kim Bum performed “When I get old” and “My Universe” before saying goodbye to fans. “Did you have fun today? I felt everyone’s hearts. I will keep this feeling with me. I won’t forget this moment until we meet again. Thank you very much. Until next time,” said the actor in Thai.

This fan meeting was a special gift in the past decades that Kim Bum would like to present particularly to Thai fans.
