BOL4 Kicks Off Their Jakarta Debut With Their First ‘2023 BOL4 Asia Tour’ Performance

South Korean singer BOL4, also known as Bolbbalgan4 (Bolbbalgan Sachungi), finally greeted their fans in Indonesia in “2023 BOL4 ASIA TOUR IN JAKARTA” at Balai Sarbini, Jakarta, on Saturday (9/9/2023). Promoted by CK Star Entertainment, this marked BOL4’s debut performance in Jakarta.

BOL4, now consisting of singer Ahn Ji-young, kicked off the concert with great enthusiasm. The first two songs performed were “Love Story” and “Red Planet,” sending their Indonesian fans into a frenzy of nostalgia. 

“This is even my first time in Jakarta. But yesterday and today, I was nervous, so I will give my best performance for all of you,” BOL4 greeted Jakarta fans. The next songs performed by BOL4 included “Chase Love,” “Hard,” “You(=I),” “You And I From The Beginning,” “Stars over Me,” and “Bom” for the first session.

The second session began with BOL4 coming down from the stage to sing amidst the audience to sing the song “When Love Becomes Goodbye,” “Mermaid,” and “Space.”

“Do you all like it? It seems like it’s more fun to sing in the middle of you than on stage,” she said, greeted by the hysterical cheers of the audience.

BOL4’s performance didn’t stop there. She continued with the third session with bright songs like “Rome,” “Seattle Alone,” and “Workholic.” She once again came down from the stage to sing “Travel” in the middle of the audience to greet all fans in every section, followed by “Some” and “Galaxy.” She also asked the audience which songs they wanted to hear, and they shouted out “Blue” and “Freesia,” which she finally performed on stage.

BOL4 Ahn Ji Young expressed her happiness at being able to hold a concert in Jakarta. She also hoped to hold more concerts in the future and meet her fans again.

“I wonder if I can meet you all again? I want to come back to Jakarta. I really feel happy and excited to be here, enjoying with all of you,” said BOL4.

Therefore, she hoped her performance would leave a lasting impression on the audience.

“Hopefully, these memories can be kept in your hearts forever. Our last song is ‘To My Youth,’ and in the future, I will be your youth as well,” BOL4 explained.

“Thank you, Jakarta, for the wonderful dream,” she added.

In addition to “To My Youth,” BOL4 closed her concert with the song “Good Night.”
