Ahn Hyo Seop Charms Indonesian Fans at His First-Ever Fan Meeting in Jakarta

Beloved actor Ahn Hyo Seop visited Indonesia for the first time to meet his fans through ‘2023 AHN HYO SEOP ASIA TOUR <THE PRESENT SHOW> IN JAKARTA’ on September 9, 2023 at The Kasablanka Hall at 6.30 PM WIB.

The loud cheers greeted Ahn Hyo Seop as soon as he was on stage singing “I’m Your Man”. His deep and husky vocal mesmerized the crowd throughout the performance. 

The actor thanked fans for welcoming him with loud cheers, “Thank you for welcoming me with amazing cheers, I’m so happy. This is my first Asia tour and I really want to meet with the fans. For the past three years, I have planned to meet you in person. So, I feel nervous and excited!”

Ahn Hyo Seop started his acting career in 2015 as a supporting role. The turning point in his career is the medical drama “Dr. Romantic” season 2 and skyrocketed to fame after appearing in webtoon-based drama “Business Proposal” in 2022 and the highly anticipated series “Dr. Romantic” season 3 in 2023.

Talking about his big hit drama “Business Proposal”, Ahn Hyo Seop asked if he ever expected that the drama would become very popular globally, the actor responded, “I really didn’t expect it. When I received the script, I didn’t think about anything else because the story was very fun and I felt healing while reading it. I think the audience also feels the same way. But in every role I have played, I don’t think about the outcome, so I don’t expect this drama to be this successful.”

The newest released drama “A Time Called You” is now airing and creating a buzz on the internet. Ahn Hyo Seop unveils he is currently watching the series too like everyone. When asked about how he felt while acting in a high school uniform, the actor reveals he feels a bit shy and awkward, but he recommends fans to watch the series till the last episode. When talking about his character on the series, Ahn Hyo Seop said, “This project is a challenge for me, because I had to play a character when he was a teenager, in his 20s, and 30s. But, I really enjoy filming it.”

Ahn Hyo Seop who is full of talent flexed his dancing ability by performing a dance cover of Taeyang and Jimin’s “Vibe” and he wows the audience with his performance. Later, Ahn Hyo Seop revealed he had been practicing for the choreography for two months.

Ahn Hyo Seop who is known as a good singer and learned instruments since he was young managed to captivate the audience with his beautiful voice while playing piano. Everyone at the venue suddenly felt like they were Shin Ha Ri as Ahn Hyo Seop recreated the piano scene from “Business Proposal” when Kang Tae Moo played a song “River Flows In You” by Yiruma. He continues to serenade his fans by singing while playing the piano of “Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love For You” by George Benson, “Old Song” by Kim Dong Ryul, “Let It Be” by The Beatles, and “Thanks” by Kim Dong Ryul.
