First Time, First Stop: A Wonderful Night at “Yerin Baek Asia-Pacific Tour” in Jakarta

For the very first time, Baek Yerin finally came to Indonesia at the “Yerin Baek Asia-Pacific Tour Live in Jakarta” event which was held on Wednesday, 31 May 2023 at Balai Sarbini. This is Yerin’s first visit as well as her first concert in Indonesia. In addition, Jakarta is also the first stop in the Asia-Pacific tour series. Make it even more special and unforgettable.

Yerin appeared in a white long dress, she is so angelic. She opened his performance by singing “It Was Me,” “Lovegame,” and “Hate You.” During the performance of “Hate You,” the fans sang along to Yerin’s surprise. “You guys know all the lyrics, wow you guys are amazing!” she said. She continued performing with “Daisies and Roses,” “I am not your ocean anymore,” “HOMESWEETHOME,” as well as the unreleased song “Dance on you.”

Moving on to the next song, Yerin asked her fans to calm down because the next song is a slower tempo song. “Calm down guys, I will sing the next song, okay!,” she said on stage. She then continued performing with “A Walk,” “Why Me,” “Antifreeze,” and “Bye Bye My Blue.”

Her last appearance made the fans even more hysterical and wanted the next one. She also returned to the stage to deliver other hits such as “Popo (How Deep is Our Love?),” “True Lover,” “Amy,” “Our Love is Great,” “Bubbles & Mushrooms,” “0415, ” “Pisces,” and “Maybe it’s not our fault.”

“All of you should be singers, not me,” she said while laughing when she saw Indonesian fans who were synchronously singing along with her throughout the song. Not only that, Yerin also sings some random song snippets. “I know you guys definitely want me to sing some songs that aren’t on the setlist, tell me,” she said. She happily sang parts of the songs “lovelovelove,” “rest,” and “Bunny.”

Until the end of the show, Yerin closed her performance with “0310,” and “Square (2017).” “Thank you, you guys are so lovely, I still can’t believe that I am here. I promise, I will be back for you!,” she said. It was a very pleasant night to be able to attend this concert. See you on the next show!
