This is How (G)I-DLE Blows Your Mind With Their Performance at “2022 (G)I-IDLE WORLD TOUR [JUST ME ( )I-DLE IN JAKARTA”

K-pop festivals and concerts in Indonesia are slowly packed again after two years of the pandemic. We are glad that one of the top-notch girl groups from CUBE Entertainment, (G)I-IDLE, is returning to Indonesia for their very first in-person concert in Jakarta also the first world tour after debuting in 2018.

The group marked their first visit to Indonesia in 2019 for a festival event, but they successfully filled The Kasablanka Hall with their fans, Neverland, for the 2022 (G)I-IDLE WORLD TOUR [JUST ME ( )I-DLE IN JAKARTA on August 27.

Starting at 6.30 PM WIB, the members opened the concert with ‘Oh My God’, continued with ‘VILLAIN DIES’, and their single debut song ‘LATATA’. Soyeon, Miyeon, Minnie, Yuqi, and Shuhua, have already mesmerized fans with their powerful stage and stunning looks in all-black costumes.

The group who took a part in producing their own songs, proudly explain the story behind the song, the concept, and the main points they wanted to show through the song. Yuqi revealed, “Because we compose our own song, so (G)-IDLE has a unique color. We have always been singing songs that we love, so it will be like that too in the future.”

Attending last night’s concert make us even more convinced that this group consists of a full talented idol as they showed their full package performance; energetic dance with steady vocal, and aggressive rap during ‘ALREADY’. They killed every performance in different concepts perfectly.

Near the end of the concert, the atmosphere was even more hotter as the girls performed their recent song that hit over the world “TOMBOY”.  The robust performance was balanced with the loud cheering and fanchant from Neverlands. We won’t forget how passionate both artists and fans were during the song. Truly amazing!

We thank Mecimapro for giving us this opportunity to witness the whole performance from (G)I-IDLE that continually blew up our minds. It was a unique concert experience for us because the girls carried out the concert by themselves. Without any special backdrop, stage movement, or back dancers, they successfully kick off the 2 hours concert with their outstanding vocals and performance.
