Kang So Ra Opens Korea Indonesia Film Festival 2019

Korea Indonesia Film Festival 2019 has officially opened last night at CGV Grand Indonesia. Guests and movie enthusiasts were seen crowding the cinema’s hall and were turned around by special guests; Korean actress, Kang So Ra, and Indonesian actor, Angga Yunanda.

Both young actors were invited as their movies are participating as line-up on the 10th year of the festival. Kang So Ra was the star of Korea’s box office hit movie, Sunny, while Angga Yunanda shines in his performance as Bima in Indonesia’s buzz movie, Dua Garis Biru.

The opening ceremony began with a beautiful performance of Korean traditional instrument, gayageum, and followed by speech from Ambassador of Republic of Korea in Indonesia, Mr. Kim Chang Beom. Mr. Kim, through his speech, expressed his hope for Korea and Indonesia to understand each culture better through movies. With the good relationship between 2 countries, the Ambassador revealed plan from Korea to continue supporting the growth of Indonesia’s movie industry.

Angga Yunanda and Kang So Ra were up next on the stage where both conveyed how they feel honored to participate in the 10-year-old event. Kang So Ra specifically said how this will be a great experience for her to be part of this history.
