[BREAKING] Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo confirmed to wed in October

Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo are to tie the knot this October! This was confirmed by the couple’s respective agencies earlier today, July 5.

After tons of speculations regarding Joong Ki and Hye Kyo’s relationship, this news officially set the record straight and confirmed that they are really dating. It took months before the real status of their  relationship was revealed and since they were talking about marriage already, then it can be assumed that they had been together for a long time now.

It’s just that, they have not admitted it to the public until now. Blossom Entertainment and United Artists Agency, the two stars’ handlers have issued a joint statement and it affirmed that Joong Ki and Hye Kyo decided to get married on October.

Part of the note also reads:

“As marriage is a complicated matter and involves two families, we are being careful with everything – this is a very important and sensitive event in any one’s life after all and this is the reason why we are only releasing this statement now. We hope everyone will understand.”

Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo first met on the set of the massively hit drama “Descendants of the Sun.” The pair has been romantically linked since the drama ended and recently, they were rumored to have spent some time together in Bali.
