Leeteuk, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun Appointed as Swiss Friends

Super Junior’s Leeteuk, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun have been appointed as Swiss Friends, the ambassador of Switzerland by Switzerland Tourism for year 2015-2016.

The appointment ceremony was held on March 3 at the Switzerland Travel Experience, Swiss Travel Expo, Seoul. The ceremony was also attended by around 120 representatives from both domestic and international travel industry.

“We hope Super Junior, that have been actively representing the youth culture of Korea not only as a singer, but also from musicals, MC, acting and other various fields, can deliver the progressive and dynamic aspects of Switzerland to the people,” said Kim Jiin, the director of Switzerland Tourism for Korea.

As ambassadors, Leeteuk, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun will also take part in the ‘Grand Tour of Switzerland’, where they will drive through small villages and around the Alps mountain to get a feel of the journey and tourist experience of Switzerland. The route will also include five roads of Alpine mountain, eleven UNESCO world heritages, and twenty two lakes through a 1600 km track.
