Gong Hyo Jin Went for Another Surgery on Her Knee

On June 30, it was revealed that the pretty actress Gong Hyo Jin went for another surgery – this time for her ruptured anterior cruciate ligament on her knee – caused by the car accident which she was involved on June 19. Apparently, her body condition is still not recovering fully from the car accident, even though she had immediately received a surgery for her arm right after the accident happened.

According to Munhwa Ilbo, Gong Hyo Jin’s rep explained that ever since the accident, Gong Hyo Jin kept mentioning about the pain on her left knee. They decided to do a CT scan and found out that her anterior cruciate ligament had been ruptured. The surgery was set immediately, since Gong Hyo Jin is currently shooting for her upcoming drama, “It’s Okay, It’s Love” that was scheduled to be aired on July 23. Even so, the drama’s production team ensures that there will be no problem for the drama’s airing because they have started the filming early.

The car accident which involves Gong Hyo Jin on June 19 damaged her left knee, forehead, and arm; but the pretty actress surprisingly recovers quickly and was able to join the filming again, a week after the accident.
