Gilme Returns With “NObody kNOws”

Singer-rapper Gilme is back with newest digital single, NObody kNOws. The self-composed track was released on May 12th, thus breaking her one year-two months hiatus.

NObody kNOws is a hip-hop track, the genre that has been Gilme’s forte for years. It has a medium tempo, filled with Rhodes piano and organ sound in the background, and accompanied with a light touch of acoustic drum. The song itself speaks about a person who still misses her past lover, despising the cold break up that they had. It is emphasized in the reff which says, “Nobody knows, perhaps nobody knows that I’m still missing you. Seems like I’m left alone (like this)”

On March 2013, Gilme released a ballad-hip hop digital single titled Laugh and Leave (웃고 떠나) featuring Jui and Mr. Tyfoon. Since then, the singer-rapper-songwriter hadn’t been releasing any solo songs. Instead, she was focusing on other personal activities also focusing on her group, Clover, activities instead. Clover, a hip-hop trio group consisting Eun Ji Won, Mr. Tyfoon, and Gilme released their 3rd digital single, Trickling (주르륵) on November 18 last year.
