SBS Contents Hub on Negotiation with Indonesian Production Team Regarding The Plagiarism Issue

SBS Contents Hub revealed that they’re having a meeting with Indonesian production team about the “You Who Came from The Stars” plagiarism issue. They said they agreed to handle this calmly and amicably, not to make the issue even bigger.

Previously, Indonesian drama “Kau yang Berasal dari Bintang” accused for plagiarizing the famous drama “You Who Came from The Stars”. SBS stated that they will take an action regarding this issue because the production team hasn’t deal with any publication rights.

The local production team, stopped the drama and release a statement about the drama that they know nothing about the similarities. SBS stated that it seems they’re not intended to do so and they’ve acknowledge that they’re wrong. SBS also stated that they’re still identifying the problem and still on negotiation for the publishing rights.
