KBS Cancels Variety Program Broadcasts Next Week

KBS has announced  that they will continue to cancel the broadcast of their variety programs next week (fourth week of April) to respect the victims and families of Sewol Ferry tragedy. The cancelled program will be mostly those in 23.00 pm KST slots, which are 

Hello Counselor (Monday), Cool Kiz on The Block (Tuesday), Happy Together Season 3 (Thursday), and Couple Clinic : Love and War Season 2 (Friday).  The weekend varieties such as Immortal Songs 2, Entertainment Weekly, Happy Sunday, and Gag Concert are all canceled too.

This week, major broadcasting stations such as KBS, SBS, and MBC have cancelled their entertainment programs due to the accident happening. They replaced the variety programs with news or current event programs. Other than KBS, currently there has been no information whether the broadcasting stations will continue the cancellation or not.  In addition, for now, the cancellation only affects the broadcasts in Korea while the overseas broadcasts are unaffected.
