BEAST's main vocalist, Yang Yoseop, thanks his fans through personal Twitter for "Yoseop Forest (요섭숲)" which will be built soon in Seoul. The star said, "Really, thank you. For Yoseop Forest. Really, B2UTYs are beautiful to their hearts."
Yoseop Forest is a birthday fundraising project made by Yang Yoseop's joint fan community under the name "We Love Yoseop" to celebrate the star's 25th birthday. They will build the forest under Yoseop's name using the donation made by fans from January 5th-April 5th this year. Presently, fans have managed to collect 25,449,565 Won or approximately USD 24,000. The fans who joined the project came from various places in the world, including Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore.
The reason behind the project was the landslide that happened in Korea back in Summer 2011. It caused casualties and property damages. In order to prevent such disaster from happening again, a strong forest needs to be built in the city. Yoseop Forest will be built two months after the fundraising ended in Seocho-gu, near Woomyusan, Seoul. The certificate then will be delivered to Yoseop through his agency, Cube Entertainment.
Meanwhile, Yang Yoseop is busy preparing for his upcoming April musical “Full House” and also for BEAST’s comeback which is said to happen around late April or early May, though no exact date has been scheduled.
