“My schedule just ended and I finally understand what’s been happening. First off, I’m really, really sorry for causing a shock to all of you,” said Lee Jong Suk. “I’m really upset that everything I’ve said and done up until now will be contradicted and I’m scared that everything I do from now on will appear like a lie to everyone.

Either way, I have nothing to say since it was my fault a hundred times over, but I felt that I needed to explain to our fans at least. First, as I’m the main product of our company, there has been some overprotection that’s even been bothering me a lot. There was some trouble fixing the schedule for Hong Kong as well.

I also didn’t see the fan, but I felt someone tugging at my sleeve and I thought it was my manager, so I pulled my hand out. There were many reporters in front of me, and I was caught off-guard and couldn’t keep a straight face. I think it was a fan I saw for the first time, so I’m really, really sorry. And I did everything wrong. I’ll do better in the future.”

His agency also explains that it was a misunderstanding. They’re late arriving in Incheon and rushing, so when someone pulled his sleeve, he was in shock and spontaneously pulled it of.
