SM Denies The News That They’re Investigated for Tax Evasion

Earlier, Segye released a report that SM Entertainment is investigated by the government because of tax evasion. For you who don’t really understand tax evasion, tax evasion means not paying the tax and in this case they’re reported not paying about $10.000.000 tax to the government.

But SM also denied the rumor and said that the news is far from the truth.  “We are currently undergoing a periodic tax investigation following the last one that took place in 2009.” They also warn not to spread news or speculating based on the rumors without evidence.
