Choi Jin Hyuk to Serve as Policeman Upon His Enlistment in the Military

On March 17, news releases indicated that actor Choi Jin Hyuk was accepted to serve at Seoul Police Public Relations Unit when he enlist. Although the date of his enlistment has not been known yet, it was confirmed that he will be a policeman once he start his military service very soon.

Super Junior’s Sungmin and Yoo Ah In have also auditioned to be conscripted policemen. Yoo Ah In already got word that he passed the initial audition but there were reports that the actor decided not to take the required exam anymore as a result of public scrutiny regarding his application in the unit. On the other hand, Sungmin is still waiting for his audition result.

Red Brick House, Choi Jin Hyuk’s agency said “Choi Jin Hyuk has been accepted to the Seoul Police Public Relations Unit but the date of his enlistment was not set yet. He is likely to work on one or two more projects before he enlists for the military service. He is currently in talks for his possible next project.”
