On January 10, 2013, Lotte Chilsung Beverage revealed that Hyun Bin will became the new face of “Cantata” brand after being discharged from the Marine Corps recently.
A representative from Lotte Chilsung Beverage said “Hyun Bin shot to stardom in the 2010 SBS drama Secret Garden and volunteered to serve his 21 months of compulsory military service in the Marine Corps which he had received a citation for being an exemplary soldier. His exemplary life in the armed forces had also attracted the advertising industry to select him as a brand endorsement.”
On the end of 2012, a representative from Lotte Chilsung Beverage went to Hyun Bin’s discharged place and hang out a slogan – “Congratulations to real man Hyun Bin being discharged”. They even had distributed warm Cantata coffee to more than 3,000 domestic and foreign fans that day. They really had made great efforts to attract Hyun Bin and finally signed an endorsement contract with Hyun Bin which will valid till the end of 2013.
Hyun Bin’s new beverage ads will start airing in February this year.
