Yoon Bomi was one of the last members to be introduced by A Cube Entertainment. She was introduced along with member Nam Joo through A Cube’s official twitter account.
Bomi was born in Suwon. She has was older sister named Yoon Sunmi and one younger brother named She studied in Gosek from kindergarten to middle school. She attended part of her High School in Youngshin Girls High School and then eventually moved to Korea Arts High School. She has a lot of nicknames given by her friends which include: bbomi, bbom, rillayoon, angry bird bbom, sparkling bomi. She is also called banggu-dol (“fart idol”) by INFINITE member Sungyeol.
Bomi is a shy and timid person yet she could also be active at the same time. She was once described by 4minute’s Gayoon as someone with a quite laid back character. She enjoys listening to music such as soft ballads which are mainly sung by Joo and J. She also enjoys eating, dancing and cheerleading. Bomi is skilled in the sport taekwondo. She originally dreamt of becoming Korea’s representative in taekwondo. Aside from taekwondo, she also enjoys playing soccer.
Her favorite meal includes budae stew. Her favorite color is red while her favorite number is three. She enjoys watching scary movies and gets the thrill out of them. She says that she enjoys movies where in “characters ate eyeballs” or people were “de-skinned.“ Her bad habit includes picking her hands. Bomi is also well-known for her gorilla impersonation.
Like most of her group members, Bomi idolizes Lee Hyori. She also admits to being a fan of the idols Minhwan from FT Island and F.Cuz’s Daegun. Her ideal type includes a man with no double eyelids.
Bomi, along with A Pink member Eunji, has chosen to focus on her music career for now instead of applying to college. According to their company: “Although they have been model students, they currently have more interest in music and want to immerse themselves in it… There are no plans for them to enter college this year. It is something they must decide.”
