During her performance for her comeback on Inkigayo, Ailee surprised everyone by wiping away what seems to be tears from her face.

Because the fans saw her a bit tear-eyed, they were left wondering if the song triggered bad memories for her, or if she had just gotten too absorbed with the lyrics of the song. Her label explained the situation by saying: “The stage was actually prerecorded. Ailee cried because the wind from the fan caused her hair to get into her eyes.”

After hearing the explanation the fans commented: “I thought there was a serious reason,” “Wow that’s such a twist,” and “That made me laugh.”
